Completely wrong of her .Disgusting racist comments. She was dealt with in the appropriate manner.

I still think people that whip out their cell phones in public and post people at their lowest(and sometimes try to push buttons to get them there)are complete scum of the earth.

No way this happens here. If it were Toronto, the 11 Asians, 2 Sri Lankans, 4 Indians, 5 Jamaicans and 3 Somalis in the same train would've beaten the snot out of her.

She lived all her life in a world that was apathetic to this type of behavior. She probably live among " her own kind " her whole life. Political correctness has taken over. Just as Toronto the Good was 98.5% white in the 60s, 70s, and now has turned ethnically diverse so has Australia.
I've encountered two separated situations recently where an older man in his 70's has told a visible minority to go back to their country. Implying that they don't belong in this country. Racism at it's finest. So yes, seems the old generation is not able to see the new world. Stuck in their old world. Perhaps the native Indians should tell them to go back to their country.

ALL the time.

In the middle east, Asian (Indian, Pakistani, Bengali, etc) workers are treated like garbage.

Indians and Pakistanis hate each other. Even among Indians, darker Indians are looked down upon, and whiter ones are treated better. Then there's the caste system.

As long as there are different people living in the same country, there will always be bigotry
Very true Stinky.

I also wanna add the treatment of Spanish people towards native-Indians in Latin-America (especially in Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela and Peru)

Tough to see someone doing that to a random stranger without cause.
They have cause (although it's funny to see you trying to defend her as having a mental illness)

Australia is being overrun by illegal Asian immigrants (same idea as southern USA by Mexico) and there is a HUGE right wing backlash against them

Maybe not true. Toronto is remarkably diverse and proud of it. People are very tolerant of other cultures, and there's very little friction. However, Torontonians tend to mind their own business, unlike Americans. They rarely get involved in matters like the train incident. Although, in this case, I'm sure this would have pushed the limits of even the most reserved Torontonians.

Australia is being overrun ...
Interesting definition of 'overrun'.

A few years ago they had an issue with smugglers bringing in boat loads of people. Even then were are talking 400,000 over 5 years compared to a population of 23 million (or a 1.7% increase). Since 2014 the implemented new policies that have stopped the smugglers so their only illegals are some 15,000 per year that overstayed their visas (out of 4.5 million visitors).

Obviously 400,000 illegal immigrants is a big deal but hardly 'overrun' and currently there are next to no illegals.

Beyond that, the woman made the racist assumption that the woman was illegal based solely on her ethnicity. The reason for her racism is irrelevant.

If you try harder to re-read the original post it will make more sense to you next time
If not ask someone to explain
I read it and understood just fine. This forum is filled with a certain type of hate that I like to call out. That's all.

The only exception may be Brazil, where, from what I understand, dark skinned people are not discriminated against.
Sorry bro. This is not true. They are treated almost the same way as the ones in the USA.

Australian men regularly lace their day to day conversations with the C word. They will tell a male mate "you're such a C*&t" " don't be a C*$t"
It may be a disturbing use of however to them they see little to be upset about.

Words take on regional uses and acceptance and outsiders should be careful about getting their knicker in a knots.

Growing up in the Vietnam era the word "gook" became more acceptable in the heat of the war. There was a recent documentary about Canadians who found in the war and one of the interviewees, Paul Richardson, commented that the US army trained them to refer to the enemy as gooks with the specific intent being to dehumanize the enemy. After 10 years of war the use remained ingrained.
