Overall, I think it's a fair game for both teams last night. What I like the most last night's game is: I finally see DD's championship personality coming out of him---A good sign for the season of 2017 Raptors. The only one thing I think Raptors could do better last night was more into details when came to the defense. The last shot that Kyrie Irving made from the 3 points line was too easy for him cause there was nobody guide him at all.

Let's go, Raptors!

The most glaring weakness offensively last season was 3 point shooting and it wasn't addressed in the Summer. The key play last night was Irwin's 3 and Patterson's miss with seconds left.

One of Ross, Patterson, Powell and Carrol has to be traded for someone who can be a 3's threat.

If you used the Jays analogy, they can hit HRs but can't hit singles! LOL

I watched most of the first half. Seemed like the Raptors were looking for more calls on fouls. There was also at least one bad decision on video referral in that half.

In the end I was surprised that the Raptors got as close as they did, with them getting within a point 3 times.

Is there a way to be a season ticket holder other than going through MLSE?
They are telling me there are no season seats for sale in the 300 level and the cheapest I heard that the 100 level is is about 4800/ea. Any ideas?

Will be interesting to see where jamaal Murray is with his development. He's in a good situation with team and coaches to accelerate his progress.

2 games in and good to see there's growth available in spades with the young 'uns. DD has progressed again which is kinda amazing along with JV. Kyle needs to get going soon. And BPSmurf, agree with the weirdness around Powell and his rotation status. Still early, of course, but there's an upside to this group. Let's go Raptors!

I think you could have bought season ticket packages on StubHub, though not sure if you can anymore.

Raptors upper bowl seats are sold out for season tickets. You might be able to get seats in the lower bowl, though they would be far more expensive and games during the week against bad teams would be extremely tough to recover your face value. At least with upper bowl seats, people would be willing to spend $40-50 on a game vs. $120-200 each. I have season seats in the upper bowl, about 5 rows up close to center court, its my second year.

Wow Wow has DeRozan stepped up his game ... 3 consecutive 30 plus games to start the season ... His last 3 years numbers are matched by the fact he is playing in a winning organization ... He is piling up career points on a lottery team ( sorry Rudy Gay reference ) ....

Hey RG, another subtle progression by the one who amazes with development every season out. He has definitely become very efficient offensively by using his strengths. And if he ever gets the 3 down (which was improved last year) he could get Kobe-like! And speaking of the anti-DD, DD is first guy since Kobe in 2005 to score 30 in 3 straight without a three!

But where I've seen some subtle but strong development is his defence. That was always his weakness though help defence covered some shortfalls. But as opposed to the past, I feel these three games he's been able to stay in front of his man better and getting better positioning defensively and rebounding. If he can continue that, we all know that will create better offence for all. Defence is still Caseys focus and after all these years it's good to see it from 1-15.

Wednesday will be fun as its chip on the shoulder time for our dynamic duo. League chatter all preseason has been whether Wall/Beal or Lillard/McCollum are second behind GS pair. Our boys might want to get in on that conversation! Plus it's the Wizards anyway....lets go Raptors!

An impressive stat is he is averaging 35 points again without even hitting a 3 ..

DD off to a great start. He needs to hit some 3's to keep the D's honest. Last year they would build up a double digit lead then surrender it, as they did last night, turned what should have been an easy win into a nail biter. Hope they get cured of that soon. The bench has to score. Patterson, Ross, need some scoring from you. The rooks are still OK, both need time and experience. Is Bruno ever going to be a player? Powell wtf???? Washington next, think they will miss Nene!

Love Biz and wish he was still a Raptor but early reruns are showing he is what we thought and that is not a 17 million dollar player . 2 points 6 rebound avg shows he is a one demintial player ..

That's awesome. I would have wanted those 300 level seats. Much easier to sell. I'll keep an eye out for any sellers. Lower bowl seats are all on a waiting list now.
Thanks though.

What's the matter with the starters tonight? Rubbish. Thank goodness bench has stepped up.

Let's hope for a better second half by Lowry and co.

No surprise. He showed he was 1-dimensional in Toronto too. But a good defender is still sought after by most teams.

Wnen do we pass the mantal of Best all time Raptor ?

DeRozan has a lot of " team first " under his reseme and now he is accumulating player first ... When does best all time Raptor get awarded to DeRozan

4 straight 30 + games to start the season ... Only two other players in NBA history have had two 30 point games and 2 40 point games to start a season ... Kobe and Jordon

DeRozan had been unreal. Alot of people questioned if he was worth 27.5mil/yr, but he keeps getting better each year. I don't think this pace is sustainable, but the team is just riding his back while they struggle with the offence. Poeltl and Siakam have also given the team some good minutes. Ross and Powell also showed up today.

I'm totally pumped for this off season to see what Jeff Weltmam can come up with our two other draft picks.

Finally the bench scores. Beat the Wizards in their barn. Awesome! DD has been Amazing! guess we don't get to see Bruno unless it is in a blow out! Will he ever be a REAL player in the NBA? He should be getting some minutes now if there is anything there! Hope VanVleet gets a shot as he maybe the 3 point shooter they need to really open things up.

Big Papa would love to see them trade a draft pick for a guy that can hit consistently from 3 point range, part of the problem with that is they are at the cap and would have to include a bench player or starter or both.

Is it just me or are their any regrets about the Carol signing ...
