GTA
Im talking home style and BIG that only takes one to fill pretty much any full grown man.

On a side note I could eat a Wendys Double any day of the week it has that homestyle flavor in the beef.

careful with all those chemicals in the beef you may end up a SJW :) better check where they get their beef from

But seriously 5 guys makes a huge greasy burger only problem is sometimes the bun starts to fall apart. If you go with a friend just get one order of fries...... they fill the cup with fries but then toss an extra scoop into you bag.

I like burger priest their basic burger is good and you don't feel you ate too much. Sounds like you may enjoy adding extra patties.

so far wendys beef is pretty conservative lol

Like having fries with a burger but not too much. I dont remember which place it was perhaps great canadian burger, they give a brown lunch bag filled with fries which is overboard for a single combo. It seems like a great deal of course it makes sense considering the cost of the combo.

I like a buger that has me full before the last bite, with enough beef that has me fearing for my life afterwards. lol

Was it Burger Priest that was in the toronto sun for the best burger in canada a few years back?
Quite possibly. IF not winner it was probably in the running. They also specialize in odd toppings and combinations. Which probably doesn't mean much to you since you want a good straight ahead burger.

BTW too funny with your Wendy's right wing meat comment. Honestly though Wendy's to me is still in that fast food genre I find the patties to be unsatisfying. Hero Burger and South Street Burger and Harvey's have better patties. But those places still are in that fast foodie type feel.

What I like about burger priest patties is when you bite into them it still feels like ground beef rather than a hard formed pattie. 5 Guys is good but I give the edge to the Priest. They have a few locations even one in Barrie. The location at Queen West is always super busy which detracts from the experience for me I like to be able to get a seat and enjoy. Ideally go with another person, one person orders the other gets a seat.

If you want volume, Dangerous Dan's at Queen and Broadview used to do a seemingly cardiac special of two burgers and fried egg and cheese and bacon.

As one gets older, however, one's tastes veer to lower quantity and better meat.....I'd have to tip my hat these days to Allen's on Danforth and their lamburger.

I find Harveys patties to have a out of the freezer taste to them, but their angus is a bit
more appealing. If im about to have arguably the best burger in the city ill have the patience to wait, otherwise big lines turn me away. When I crave a big juicy burger im usually starving and haven't eaten all day, im feeling too weak to stand in line. lol

Could have been. Lick's used to hold that title for the longest time.

Havent been to burger priest in awhile but when they came to toronto, they had a "secret menu"

Not a huge secret, just that they had burger names/types online that were different then what was on the menu in the restaraunt so you could order something no one in line knew about (assuming they didnt know the secret that is)

Iv actually never tried licks despite their good reputation, I may be committing a crime against burger tasting for this.
I came close to trying a Licks by the airport but was lured in to Zets while driving there whom iv had many times before. Their burgers are pretty good, fairly consistent quality every time I had them.
