Have you been to vancouver? I have been a few times in the last ten years and it is a very white town compared to toronto.

Clearly you never said "Vancouver is more white" (earlier).


You wrongly stated that Vancouver "is a very white town compared to Toronto".


The factual realities mirrored at the following links assure that visible minorities were "49.1%" of the Toronto population in 2011

and that visible minorities were 51.8% of the population in Vancouver in 2011.

I agree it depends how one defines 'livable'. Stellar housing costs aside, I find that Vancouverites (Western Canada in general) are way friendlier to outsiders than Torontonians. It's much easier to make friends and meet women, and the weather is way better than Toronto, which is a low bar to begin with... Apart from that the scenery is gorgeous. But, I settled in TO for the job opportunities and cost of living which proves the OP's point.
