Man this sucks.

Two excellent outings by Sanchez and Stroman wasted, WASTED, WASTED.

Next time the Jays go to extra innings, please please lose quickly. We don't have the pitching staff or hitting staff to go 14-19 innings.

I think you're being too hard on yourself
I'm not the one who is making racist statements. You are. You are also the one who calls people names is they don't play baseball as well as you hope. I would say you act like you're in grade three, but why would I want to offend all the grade three kids ?

The Jays don't hit in extra innings. Every relief pitcher becomes Mariano Rivera (look at that guy last night who retired every "hitter". Too many Jays trying to be a hero. Pillar in particular is a lunkhead in extras because he likes the limelight and desperately wants to hit a walk off or winning homer by swinging at pitches that are a foot outside. Many others similar.

Can Mr. Gibbons kindly remind hitters that there are ways to put a rally together.

In fairness their two best hitters were out

JD and Troy who has been hot last couple of weeks showing why he is rated as one of the best shortstops in baseball

This means they can pitch around everyone else so, in effect, even more hitters are out

Buck was making the case that if they want to bring him back into the rotation for the playoffs or stretch run, that's when he may extend himself and risk injury. And if for any reason Sanchez hurts his arm in the next 2 years, there's going to be a lot of second guessing that they lost the opportunity to win in 2016 (if we don't).

Lots of fodder for the armchair GM's.
Indeed, strategy is best part of game

One gutsy decision moving Cy Young candidate to pen

We have 3 quality starters left, which seems enough for the playoffs, but Estrada is hurt and the rest have pitched a lot of innings as Gibby had no faith in pen so others may go down then do you bring Sanchez back into rotation?

Also, how will they use Liriano?

My guess is a starter now that Hutch is gone which is why they feel they can put Sanchez in the pen which means less stress on starters as Gibby can go to pen sooner which may make team better even though they lose Cy Young candidate as starter but he can still win Cy Young

Jays go to World Series or Gibby is gone and lots of highly qualified TERBs can apply for job

After back to back extra inning games, the bullpen is destroyed. Gibby will have to stick with Dickey tonight for however long it goes. Hold on, it could get messy tonight.

Guess you proved my point. I'm always surprised. Just when I think you have redefined stupid and immature you paint a new picture. It's too bad you post here. There are some people who are very knowledgeable about baseball and the Jays (whether I agree with them or not). AK you drag this forum down more than anyone who posts here. It's a shame to be honest.

Word! right behind the astros.com sign. Whoa, mercy! What I'd give to peel those daisy dukes off her ass. :)

McCullers looks like our bats are going to stay cold.

The cameraman is also impressed with that girl's body. Dayum.

Let's hope Danny Barnes is the real deal. Looked good in debut not quite as good as Musgrove.

Congratulations Boom Bats on hitting his 300th dinger.

Encarnaciiiioooon has his 297.
Congrats to both, most of which were hit as Jays.
JB clearly came back a few games too early from his toe injury, struggled against the Padres but he's a gamer and now has 2 HRs in the past week.

Also the strikeouts are really hurting the offence. All the recent HR's have been solo shots, cuz nobody is getting on base ahead of the HR's. It's the biggest difference between the offence this year and last.

Dickey did what he had to do to save the bullpen and Barnes and Grilli looked to preserve the 2-1 win. Not often we say that without mentioning Osuna.

Houston's Altuve looks like he's a contender for the MVP, does everything to win. He and Correa remind me of the Tiger's Trammel and Whittaker, up the middle duo. They could keep the Astros competitive for the next decade.

Typical Astros game. Great pitching. Astros have a lot of "all or nothing" guys with low averages who swing for that left field porch and hope to get lucky. Hence the K's.

Altuve, Correa and Springer are their only decent lineup players.

Indeed. Also Jays lost the DH spot when Tulo got hit so had issues trying to avoid pitchers having to bat.
