, you have absolutely nothing to suggest this kid was motivated by any Middle Eastern religious or cultural imperatives.
There is no info about this young guy, his personality or his life.
Nobody claimed the he was connected to an Islamic Terrorist network like you said. But they have found that he was likely Isis inspired from the home made Isis flag found in his home. Isis did claim it, but we don't know if its true. But looks like he was Isis inspired.

Hand-painted ISIS flag found in room of Bavaria train attacker, terror group claims responsibility.

Police discovered a hand-painted Islamic State flag in the room of the Afghan teen who attacked passengers on a train in Germany. The group claimed responsibility, but the Bavarian interior minister said evidence indicates the teen could be self-radicalized.
Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) has said the attacker was one of its fighters, according to IS-affiliated Amaq news agency.

Police have also found documents suggesting the Afghan teen who attacked passengers on the train in Wurzburg had links with IS.

“It is clear that apart from Islamic State terror group’s flag, several documents that indicate of the suspect's links to IS have been discovered in the suspect’s room,” N24 reported, adding that the documents have been taken by police for further analysis.

Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann said Tuesday that a note was found in the teen’s room indicating he may have been self-radicalized. In the note the attacker wrote of Islam and a “need to resist.”

“We also discovered a text in Pashto written partly in Arabic and partly in Latin, which indicates that this could be someone who has self-radicalized recently,” Herrmann said, noting that this had yet to be proven.

Herrmann also said that people who had been close to the attacker told investigators he had an appearance of a calm, not expressly religious person.

The official stressed that the attack is no reason for generalized suspicion of refugees. He added that attacks like the one in Wurzburg would not stop Germans from riding in trains and that people must not let “such attackers” ruin their lives.

Read carefully:

I wasn't referring to all muslims. I said "people who do these acts".
Re read the part of your previous post that I underlined and coloured.

I would be suspicious of any article from RT.

Assuming that the teen was inspired by the truck driver in Nice and was "self radicalized" - i.e. some misfit lone wolf who was looking for a moment of glory and violence and used ISIS and its teachings as an alibi to go on a rampage - where does that leave you?

He still represents a tiny psychotic fringe of the community - and indeed the Muslim community.

You going to "deport all Muslims"?! 10% of the native-born population of France is Muslim and 99.99999% are law abiding. You do not have the resources to investigate every single Muslim continuously - leaving aside the amount of alienation that would cause. And you can't deport them because they are native born French and because you simply do not have the resources to round them all up and put them on planes that you are going to send.... where???!!

So that leaves Auschwitz-style death camps. Or simply trying to ride out the storm.

Do you place all men under surveillance because a tiny proportion are wife-killers? As radical feminists would suggest?

Crazy people shout all sorts of things.
True enough Oagre, but as David Thomson the author of a recent book on jihadists in France has stated regarding the Nice attack: "Being unbalanced never kept anyone from being a jihadist.”

The usual suspects on this Board will argue that this is just another crazy kid with an ISIS flag shouting "Allah is Great" attacking people who just happens to be a Muslim (the kid).

Every time this happens the usual suspects will argue it is just an isolated incident even though it happens again and again and again, i.e. every Muslim is good, law abiding and productive except the ones who aren't.

How about the BBC??! Is that far enough left-wing for ya??

And it gets worse for you, oagre. The kid even made an ISIS video:

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-36832909

The so-called Islamic State has released a video purporting to show an Afghan asylum seeker making threats before attacking a German train.

The 17-year-old injured four people with an axe and knife, one critically, in the attack in Wuerzburg on Monday evening. He was shot dead by police.

In the video, a young man brandishing a knife says he is an "IS soldier" preparing for a suicide mission.

German officials say they later found a hand-painted IS flag in his room.

The teenager reportedly shouted the Islamist slogan "Allahu akbar" ("God is great") during the attack.

The self-styled news agency of IS said he had launched the attack "in answer to the calls to target the countries of the coalition fighting the Islamic State"

The driver was initially arrested in the Val-de-Marne (just south of Paris) because his suspected involvement in a number of robberies

The kid was a refugee and had only lived with his German foster parents for 2 weeks before he went on his rampage.

Thats TWO WEEKS!!!
He was a refugee? That didn't take long. No sleeper cells needed. That along with the groping (i.e. sexual assault) of German women... things are working out swimmingly.

Yes he's an Islamic terrorist and he's Afghani.
Lots can be done, by starting with Mosques and Muslim schools, education. Weapons have been found in Mosques. There is proof that some Imams and teachers push radicalism.

Just so we're clear I am NOT IN ANY WAY suggesting we return to 1940's Germany and start putting people in concentration camps

Apart from your assumption that all Muslims are sub humans who happily kill and injure, you have absolutely nothing to suggest this kid was motivated by any Middle Eastern religious or cultural imperatives.

There is no info about this young guy, his personality or his life.

When that kid got shot down on the Dundas street car brandishing a knife, did anyone say that it was "Catholic terrorism"?
You must be joking, I hope. Fiirst, if you are referring to Sammy Yatim he did not harm anybody and it was clear that the guys had mental health issues. The afghan teenager tried to kill people with an axe and a knife. Now, I don't know any other religion in modern times that individuals consistently use as a justification to injure and kill anybody who does not agree with their views. When was the last time you read about a Jewish or Catholic strapping an explosive vest and walking into a crowded place to take as many innocent souls with them so that he can claim his 7 virgins in heaven? I am not saying all Muslims are terrorists but one seriously has to question what is it in either the religion or Middle Eastern culture that prompts individuals to express their discontent and grievances in such a destructive and abhorrent way.

Religious freedom. In the immediate aftermath of San Bernadino, some gun stores refused to sell guns to Muslims but this was ruled unconstitutional.

Breaking news: Just heard a police officer killed in the line of duty in Kansas City.

Another day, another Middle Eastern guy going nuts.

Maybe it's not even about the religion, but more about people of Middle Eastern descent are more easily influenced to do stupid stuff. Who knows.

There's a ton of Muslims in Malaysia or the Philippines, but how come you don't hear about all kinds of terrorist acts or rebels or cities getting bullet ridden?

Nobody is saying all Muslims are bad.

However, when it comes to terrorist shit, or religious rampages, how comes it'a almost always Islamic guys?

Philippines - Lots of maniac Muslims in the southern islands. They like to kidnap people and chop off their heads.

Malaysia - The government seems to have a handle on terrorists. Bear in mind that unlike almost all Islamic countries where Muslims make up virtually 100% of the population, Muslims make up around 60% of the population of Malaysia.

I think Timothy McVeigh was a Christian.
