This and many other cases were used to show the naysayers that this has been happening for EONS, but there wasn't any cameras around in those days so...Agreed.... but this case is actually counter to the anti-police sentiment. It appears Slager is guilty, of that I have no doubt. But the narrative of police get away with everything and aren't held accountable is thrown out the window with this very example. He was fired and charged with murder. Slager is evidence that police who violate the law will face consequences.
