yes it was a stinker tonight, and there will be plenty more this year. They took 3 of 4 from Minnesota, and if they win the next two, it's 2 of 3 from New York and 5 out of the last 7. They just need to keep winning series after series and they be right back in it. There is still about 119 baseball games left and there like 5 games out of a wild card spot.

Jays demoted Venditte to make room for him , leaves only 6 relievers and Goins still with the team. Tulo pulled something sliding into second last night so I guess they need the extra SS backup just in case he needs a couple days rest.
Travis will bat 8th tonight, hopefully he can repeat his rookie magic of april of last year with the bat.

Couldn't agree more. Barney should have started over Goins tonight. But Goins hit the go ahead RBIs. The strategy was flawed but it worked out. Martin was making solid contact with the bat , he missed a 3rd HR in his last AB by a few metres, if that was at Rogers centre it was most likely a HR.

On the broadcast today they said Martin got a shipment of his new bats in NY. 0.5 oz lighter and shorter.
