DNQ :: Blond Beauty * Valerie 2728 * :: I'm on the goal line and she calls an audible

UPDATE

Please scroll down to the 13th post in this thread to read Count Dracula's account of what happened when he actually met Valerie face to face.

END OF UPDATE

There is no review here, and nothing good or bad to say about Valerie, so don't waste your time reading this review, because it isn't one. The fact of the matter is, I did not qualify (DNQ), so there is no review here, just the long, incoherent babblings of a man who consumed far too much defoliage agent while fighting Charlie during the seventies.

Blond Beauty ** Valerie ** Visiting Durham Toronto Party Fun

So, I kinda felt obligated to take another one for the team after reading the ever so kind and appreciated kudos a fellow Terbite bestowed upon me, so I went looking for another slim and attractive young girl in Durham that hadn’t been reviewed yet, or at least, one that the wonky TERB search tool doesn’t bring up when you put in all the right keywords. I chose Valerie (2728) to be my next recognizance mission.

Magically disappearing ink

I had some mild reservations looking at her photos. In the hottest photo of them all where she is sorta on her knees, you can’t see any ink on her back. Yet in another photo where she looks a bit thicker, you can clearly see a tattoo. So right away I was a bit worried. I also have a rule of never visiting girls that don’t show their stomach straight on, and in both the posted pics that show her from the front she is covering her belly. So magically appearing and disappearing ink, along with a reluctance to display the midsection are usually deal breakers for a guy that prefers spinners and fitness models where you can do octal math using their abdominals.

We texted and she said $120 for the hh with a full GFE including BBBJ, DATY, COB, COF and MSOG, as if I could take multiple shots in a half hour session. I typically need a 24-48 hour recovery time before anyone should even think about passing me the puck. I didn’t ask about CIM. I just assumed it was off the menu given the clear menu she texted, and figured I’d just ask when I was there. BBBJ and COF is a fine finish for me, although CIM is always preferred.

So, I get to a high quality hotel on Champlain and text her that I’ve arrived, at which point she tries to phone me, which is a problem, because I use a burner number when I hobby which doesn’t accept incoming calls. But even back in the day when I didn’t have a burner phone, I’d only ever text. I never liked the idea of discussing things on the phone when I don’t know who might be on the other end recording what I’m saying. With text, I can just delete my burner number, or at least lock my phone, and if law enforcement is there, they’re going to have a hard time tying me to the solicitation of a blow job. Of course, if they’ve got my voice recorded asking for CIM, I’m done. I know, it’s a tad bit paranoid, but I don’t like chatting about these things over the phone when someone on the other end might be recording. I lived through the Nixon era: I know what type of impact a taped conversation can have on a man's well-being.

24…32…HUT-HUT-HIKE

So, I texted her and told her that I prefer not to talk on the phone for the exact reasons I mentioned above, although I left out the part about Richard Nixon.

She texted me back, IN ALL CAPS, saying “I DO NOT TEXT MY ROOM NUMBER. EVER. SO I GUESS THAT’S IT.

Now I respect a woman’s policies. I know Tina prefers to have men go through a hoop or two before she brings them into her home, and that’s cool. I think these girls should do everything and anything that they feel keeps them safe. My issue is with the all caps message. Seriously, we were having a nice conversation and then all of a sudden she whipped out the capital letters. Honestly, I didn’t even see them coming. It caught me off guard, and hurt me just a little bit. I'm still a little shaken.

I personally didn’t resort to the letters stored in the upper drawers of the printing press, but I texted her back in predominantly lower case saying “Every other girl does. Except cops. Sorry, I don’t take chances.” Now after writing that I kinda regretted it. I know, I didn’t resort to street tactics like hitting the shift key, but it was a bit snide, and these girls take enough shit from guys, she doesn’t need some old war vet getting on her case.

Just being a troublemaker

Her response was interesting. She didn’t slap me with upper case letters again, so she had clearly calmed down, but she did provide some justification for requiring a phone call.

“And more times these text only or textme app guys are troublemakers, black guys, working girls esp and just plain old trouble. Have a nice evening!”

I appreciated her wishing me a nice evening, so I then sent her a nice message trying to be kind. Seriously, I tried to just make nice, no sarcasm there. I apologized for the miscommunication, told her that I wasn’t one of those guys she described, and just told her again that I feel uneasy when I don’t know who is on the other end of the phone. I then apologized a second time for wasting both of our time, and that was it.

Is texting ruining the profession?

I did think it was interesting that from her perspective, the use of these burner phones, fake phone number apps like TextME and messengers were messing up the game. I guess the old guys who typically don’t know how to download an Android app or use a burner number are a bit more reliable, and by actually phoning the person, she could tell that they were what Stephen Harper would call old stock Canadians. Well, I’m not sure if he was talking about men who visit prostitutes when he said that, but you get the idea.

So, basically, she called an audible on me and I wasn’t comfortable with the play so I walked off the field. Sorry to waste her time, my time, and now the time of every TERB member who thought they were getting a review here, because there isn’t one. I really have nothing positive or negative to say. Someone else, who actually uses their smartphone for synchronous voice communication, is going to have to TOFTT on this one. Honestly, I don't even know if my smartphone can place calls. I've certainly never placed one on it.

I was still in the mood though, so I kept scrolling down the date section in backpage and was forced to do something I normally would never do: I booked with a girl offering $60 blow jobs. You know that can never turn out well, can it? That review is to come.

UPDATE: Here's the review of the $60 BBBJ girl

Thanks for sharing AO, I ran into some of the same things too and I told them upfront that I was on a hobby phone and it can't make or accept phone calls, but that doesn't seem to matter to them. I had a few ladies relent, but some won't and I would back you on the whole text has ruined things somewhat. It is a nasty business with some of the idiots who book or send pizzas to the ladies room, just to fuck them around. Sometimes the hotel manager pays a visit because the competition does what they can to subvert other ladies ability to do business. It's a shame because text is so easy and discrete and like you, I won't call.

Maybe ask the SP to call the lobby/house phone and you pick up?

Would that work? Just a thought.

I know I know, hanging out in the lobby is not a good thing. But I just put my mind set that I am just visiting a friend.
Worse case scenario, if i am approached, I say I met a girl in a bar last night and can't remember the room # lol
Has saved me a few times :)

I know I will not book an appt with an unknown through text. I prefer a phone call so I can get a feel for whom I'm speaking to. I'm sure this applies to other women as well. Also text can be traced by law enforcement further back than calls. Or so I've heard.

Thanks Dirk.

To be honest, I thought I might get flamed a bit here for not making a call. I've seen some other posts where veterans of the hobbyist trade have said they won't see a girl at all if she's not willing to pick up the phone and answer it herself, so I was wondering if maybe I was totally out of line here.

I use a burner app named Burner (link to their website) and it costs me like $5 or something to create a new phone number with 150 texts or so. I would imagine it does make it harder for girls to just casually block guys after seeing them once and deciding simply not to return their texts anymore. So while I'd never really thought about it, I could see how anonymity through these apps could really screw the girls up.

I felt bad for Valerie too. I booked hh at around 9pm, a peak time. By not going through, she ended up with an empty time slot, and it probably meant she didn't book anyone else from potentially 8:45 to 9:45, so she's now out of pocket the opportunity cost of maybe having booked someone who actually does know how to place a telephone call.

In Valerie's defense too, her last text after we made the appointment was "Call me when you get here." I didn't take her use of the word call literally. I just took it to mean 'let me know you're here.' Clearly when she said 'call', she meant 'call.' Well, actually, I guess that's not quite literal either. Literally, to 'call' would imply getting out of my car and yodeling her name or something. But yeah, if I took her last text as we booked more literally it might not have been a waste of time.

I'm sure this applies to other women as well.
Wow, I think this might be a bit of a contentious issue. It seems there are plenty of different perspectives on the topic, and people have their heels dug in. With Valerie, I was really surprised that she wouldn't make an exception. My texts to her were polite and well written. I think you can kinda get a feel when you read a text from me that I'm not a thug. I thought she might just say 'okay, I'll come down and meet you in the lobby' as our former president suggested above. Or just make a quick exception hoping she had a good feeling about me. After all, it was $120 on the line right there, and she knew I was right there in the lobby. This fish was already on the hook, as they say. But she was adamant. Heck, she was CAPITAL LETTERS adamant.

I know I will not book an appt with an unknown through text. I'm sure this applies to other women as well.
Believe it or not, this is the first escort I've ever seen that made it a requirement.

Also text can be traced by law enforcement further back than calls. Or so I've heard.
Text messages through your carrier are timestamped with the TO and From, but the content of the text is not stored for privacy reasons in Canada. But my burner app does everything over the phone's data plan which goes through a company in the US to broker the actual message. I'm not sure if that's even possible to trace, and even if it was, the Canadian authorities would need a warrant executed against the American company that brokers the messages, which would be way too big of a hurdle to jump over to bust a john. On the other hand, there's no denying my scratchy voice on a recording.

Maybe ask the SP to call the lobby/house phone and you pick up?
God, I do everything in my power not to make any eye contact at all with the person working the front desk. I'd probably melt if I had to ask to use the hobby phone.

Yeah, I was actually surprised when she mentioned other SPs. I mean, I can see guys that had a bad call being a problem, or jerks trying to go cheap on her, or just some guys being idiots, but her reference to "working girls esp"? Are certain girls in this industry so catty and bored that they're bothering their fellow union members with spam texts? Weird.

LOL....nah, just pretend you are James Bond and you have an assignment waiting for you upstairs...but I know what you mean. Hopefully the SP knows where the phone is or can direct you. But it becomes too awkward in the end sometimes, I know.

Lately, rarely do SP's ever ask to phone, it is all text now, mostly from the BP ads. I honestly can't remember the last time I spoke to an SP on the phone. I guess I either have too many regulars or they ask for the terb ID before so it is a safe set up already.

the majority of ads I see say text preferred. Also since tone is hard to derive from texts, format matters. CAPS LOCKING everthing and ending it with "so I guess that's it" was not friendly. And your right your response want either, though I have been tempted to do the same thing many times. Only reason I didnt is because I did not want a response or I wanted to forget it ASAP.
Also this is still a review for me, her response probably means she doesn't want to be seeing my black ass lol.

In my original review I'd written something about being a bit offended by the 'black' comment, but I'd edited it out - you know, I didn't want my non-review to be overly verbose. But yeah, if she'd said 'thugs' or 'gansters' or something I could understand, but I thought going directly to the black card was a bit offensive, even for a white guy.

I have always wondered. Would thugs or gangsters listen to that request? I mean do they go like "oh shit this one's a no go".
meh its all good I use it as a screening process, I have noticed when reading bad reviews that is a common restriction in the ad.

I have met with some SP's who do require you call. Now I get we all want to remain as anonymous as possible, but when I did answer I got a better sense and vibe from where they are coming from. Basically I see it as they want to know you are SERIOUS and not just some no show, or are drunk or is sitting at home jerking off and her giving a room number (leaving them pretty exposed) and no one comes to the door. Now they worry all night. I can see the pro and con to this. But hey all girls work different ways. I only like to text myself, but when the phone does ring I answer it and it's always been worth it :)

And FYI text, calls, it doesn't matter. If the cops are going to sting you they can and will be accommodating as possible to get you into the room.

WELLL! I TOFTT for you guys and answered the phone made it to the room. For one, it's a really nice place. For the other she looks nothing even CLOSE to the ads. This was a 48 year old ukaranian woman who is blonde but has quite a bit of sag and old black lingere where you can see her possibly once large perky tits sagging into. I was all horned up but I played the whole, OMG I left my wallet in the car routine I'll be right back and saved myself. She wanted $20 for the touble, which I said I didn't have. What's worse, she didn't know what arrangement we had set up or for how long, it's like I showed up to a shady massage parlor. There you go guys, honest review and I still have my money but blue balls lol

You're my hero, Dracula!

That's really awful, and honestly, I wouldn't have suspected it. I've seen her ads before, and I've seen her travel around, not to mention the fact that she'd actually put out for one of the nicer hotels around. Those are usually signs of a professional worthy of a bit of respect. But clearly she didn't have any respect for you or any of the other hobbyists around.

The "left it in my car" excuse is old but effective. We should all chant that to ourselves once before knocking on the room door and be ready to use it when things don't line up correctly. It takes a brave soul to walk out. Respect.

Thanks to vamp and AO for this one.

I avoid ads that say "party" like the plague, and also ads that say "Whitby, Ajax, Pickering, Scarborough, Vaughan, Brampton, Brantford" like her's does. Almost always indicates a bait and switch.
