Discovery, Learning, and especially History used to be great.'

Now they are all shit, all the time. Guys busting into storage lockers, shooting aligators, fixing up rusty old fridges. I stopped giving a fuck about Pawn Stars a few years ago.

History used to have some really interesting docs, war shows, etc. Now, I can't remember the last time I tuned them in.

It's all (so called) reality shit that has nothing to do with history whatsoever. A n E was the same, only they pulled the plug on good content a decade ago and go with all shit all the time.

Lowest common denominator shit.

Major cinematic achievements should be on the history channel.

Skyfall was the best grossing Jame's Bond movie in history.

Profit!!!!

I agree with the sentiments others have made. History, Discovery, Nat Geo, et al have declined in the type of programming with which they were known for. As soon as new light packages come out, these are gone from my programming. They show nothing but mindless drivel these days.

Yeah, back in the day History Channel would show WWII movies or documentaries. TLC would show medical shows. A&E would show classic films from the 50s and 60s.

Some stuff was fine, but I found most of the stuff boring. No wonder they changed it up. Better ratings.

However, most of the content has nothing to do with the channel anymore. How Storage Wars, Hoarders, the 1,000 lb man and other smut fits into these channel's image who knows. But entertaining smut!
