Bingo. I've lost about 120 lbs over three years, and kept it off, and have eaten McDonald's and Wendy's salads (the latter on a very regular basis for a while)!!!! If you think about it logically, how can lettuce/vegetables be bad? Just make sure the protein source that comes with them is low-fat and not breaded, and that you use the dressing very sparingly. You'll be fine, and it's better than anything else on their menu.
