Moderation PLUS what is in the processed meat. Some sausages like the ones I get from the butcher are low in salt & fat. The taste is in the spices & thus are not harmful. I like Farmers Garlic Sausage & Cajan Sausage .... these ones I get are low in fat & salt but tasty.

The last World Health proclamtion was the swine flu "pandemic". Their credibilty isn't what it used to be. Processed meat has long been known to slightly increase the risk of canacer. Actually World Heath has not done any new research, they have just sumarized all the existing research and tried steal headlines

I remember when smoker Ken Boyer and George Knudson were dying of lung cancer at age 51. During their last interviews they sounded so pissed off that their stupid smoking habit was killing them prematurely. Life is strange. Anyways, it is what it is. Here's the bottom line and I've always believed this, That's why I still have a 29" waist. I only eat when I'm hungry. Sodium filled foods including processed foods are the cause of over eating including sweet filled foods.
I put my five cats on a restricted diet ever since one of them almost died because of stones which cost me a fortune to cure. So I decided to restrict their diet. Today they are more active than they have ever been even

With all these cancer threats, I can no longer handle the pressure.
I'm going to have a triple BLT, a triple cheese pizza with pepperoni and salami and then drive around following a diesel Jetta.
