The more we rely on immigration from the ME and Asia, the easier it is for Liberals to get elected. They have an organized network of foot soldiers who make inroads with the various ethnic groups, promising them "stuff". The Conservatives have started to do this as well but they are well behind their counterparts.

I think the Conservatives need to do a better job to select someone more "likeable" as their next party leader. Because clearly it's not about substance or experience anymore. We're officially fucked. Think Wynne on steroids.

Today is a sad day for Canada. We're officially fucked. Justin has no backbone. We're going to suffer economically in the long run because of this.

Not possible and never going to happen. It just isn't possible given Cons innate tainted genes....:eyebrows:

Congrats Canada, in putting the Cons back in a lockbox where they belong.....:thumb:

It was long over due!

Hillary and Joe Biden were ecstatic with the election results and commented the Conservative...

Are you dunce? PC's elected 1995, re-elected 1999, and then voted out 2003. It's of no consequence whether Harris was still Premier or not; his party and policies he enacted were clearly rejected in the '03 election.
Yawn

Ah the race card is played, just like clockwork. I've worked in the trenches I know how it operates. Just calling it like it is.

Popular votes: 40% Liberals, 32% Conservatives.

8% more popular votes translates into 85% more seats.

And Trudeau said that he would reform the system in Canada and adopt proportional representation?

Good luck with that now that he's got a majority.

Haha, you are not a very gracious loser, are you. We got rid of Harper
Actually if you will notice I haven't gone after several posters because while I disagree. With them I respect their opinion.

But when it comes to a few of the cut and paste posters who use dubious websites, extreme blogs, fringe opinion and attempt to state this as common fact then I choose to state the obvious.

And if you look at what he posted I think smug and sore winner describes it best.

As for me I know the country is stronger than one man or party. Unlike the rhetoric heard by some here. But the nation is going to be worse off come four years imo.

When the FUCK HAS IT EVER been about substance?
Liberals weren't liked for what they had done and got voted out.
Now, the conservatives have done the same and it's the Liberals' turn.

The choice was a dictator or a fresh face, clearly the option was obvious.
