Did you read the report? It was Peel police...no?Nice he got 500g's in salary for the 4 years he was suspended with pay while the legal process came to a resolution. The Durham PD is now moving to you know can his ass and has turned off the money tap.
So far the only cop that was criminally convicted in the G20 scandal was also a non-white cop... the other white cop that was also charged was A C Q U I T T ED!!!Not sure him being black has anything to do with it. Dude did something illegal and put the public's trust behind his own selfish interest.
And "coloured"? LOL
Maybe he was innocent! So far the only cop that was criminally convicted in the G20 scandal was also a non-white cop... the other white cop that was also charged was A C Q U I T T ED!!!
His brothers in blue did not come to his rescue in the end.....I am not saying he does not deserve it, it just illustrates the racism of the institution. So a civil servant abused his power to line his pockets with money. Got caught and is being punished.
The colour of his skin effects this story how??
orrrr....... he was guiltyHis brothers in blue did not come to his rescue in the end.....I am not saying he does not deserve it, it just illustrates the racism of the institution.
Rescue HOW? He committed the crime...His brothers in blue did not come to his rescue in the end.....I am not saying he does not deserve it, it just illustrates the racism of the institution.
How would they; hack the computers and erase the reports he filed? It wasn't a he said/she said. He was convicted based on the actual reports he filed. His brothers in blue did not come to his rescue in the end.....I am not saying he does not deserve it, it just illustrates the racism of the institution.
I agree. When I first read the title of the thread, I thought to myself, 'what did he do, tell people he was white, asian, or some other colour?'. I didn't know that was a chargeable offense. He would have been better off living in the States and becoming head of the NAACP.Another awesome example of people trying to make something about race that simply isn't.
1 - a police officer committed fraud
2 - said officer was convicted
There is NO reason to bring up race unless you are trying to stir the pot...
