SkyGreece has stranded hundreds of passengers. What a total joke- they only have one plane! WTF. How does a guy with one fringin plane have an "airline" ? I would think there would be some sort of regulation of this kind of crap. You have to to think twice about the state of safety in the airline business,,,, :confused:

I used the airline once, back in June. It was cheap and convenient as they had a direct flight to where I wanted to go. Plane is 20 years old, in good condition. However I didn't like the fact that the first 10 seats at the front were reserved and separated by curtains. During the flight true two pilots were slipping in there and most of the flight attendants.
I think they were running a sweat shop with there employees.

I did some research on he airline. The owners are Greek Canadians and co. Is registered in Greece. They got money from European Union to start.
They are a bunch of crooks. They were selling tickets up to last Wednesday when they new that their plane was park at Pearson at a secure area for not paying landing fees and fuel

Ken Stathakis is one of the principal owners and also owns the Octagon steakhouse in Richmond Hill. I'm sure they didn't serve steaks on SkyGreece,,,,

Not sure what you are complaining about- you book with a cheap airline and then complain they arent first class?

If consumers continue to demand low price above quality then they should be happy with their choice

The Greeks can't even run a solvent country let alone an airline.
They need to stick to restaurants.
Oh, and I hear they are the only airline that board passengers from the rear. Going Greek Lol!!

Yeah, and when business wasn't too good they had a mysterious fire at that resturant a few years back.
Take their money and RUN

Not to be racist or generalizing, but no doubt it will...
What is it with Greeks who seem to live in a culture of laziness and entitlement.

I'll never forget an article I read in the National Post during the Greek Crisis. They always had a photo accompanying the article and every time it would be a group of working age Greek men sitting at a table drinking alcohol in the middle of the day debating the latest proposal from Europe. It was surreal, why weren't they at work, they were all able bodied. They need to look in the mirror at the problem. You would never see a picture of able bodied, working age German males sitting around complaining about the latest handout offer from Europe. They would be working or studying hard to be successful and self sufficient, obviously something the Greeks are not capable of...

All those passengers who lost money should eat at the OCTAGON restaurant and then when the bill arrives, don't pay it, just leave a note stating that SkyGreece will be picking up the tab.

STICK IT TO THE MAN !!!

Evidently they have a sky pilot involved in the biz. One of the owner/shareholders is a pilot priest.

Only if they booked through a ontario registered travel agent (tico), not if they booked directly with the airline through their website.

Not sure if this is true or not,but even if you booked through the airline and you used your credit card,won't the credit card company refund your money because the service you paid for was never received? Some one told me this, so anybody have any idea on this theory?
