The answer to this question is so obvious to me.
Don't Fear the Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult.
I fell in love with it from the first. That guitar riff gets me every time.

well, my friends would probably put something on by the beasties boys cause they'll always remember me as the fourth beastie boy...lol.

I think times of your life by green day would my good one.

I don't think the title of that song would be appropriate..... the actual title is Good Riddance.

One out of three, not bad. Anka spent a few months in France. What was the original score and where did he get lyrics from ??

Ok I'll give you one of them. The music was originally composed in 1967 by Claude François and Jacques Revaux. The original song was titled Comme d'habitude I definitely prefer the French version.
Bur thats just me. The feelings in the French version are much deeper than the idealistical English version. Jmts The music was sold to Paul Anka for a dollar. With all the money this song made, the original writers
never saw a dime. No less Anka is of Lebanese dissent who was brought up in Ottawa, very disappointing. Below is the French version on this song. It was song by many French singers but for me this was the best
version by Michel Sardou ! The question becomes where were the words taken from? My Mother being a singer when she was younger, in own right pointed me to the truth. And this is another very famous French song.

If most of you could understand the French lyrics version of this song, You would know what I mean by depth !!
