Club Review: Nikki's Roadhouse
Hwy 2, Woodstock, Ontario

Nikki's has been a club that I've been curious about for a long time but have never been to. I'm a TTC bound Torontonian, who, when he does have a vehicle, seldom finds himself in the vicinity of this club. Well, I had a vehicle and I was a little bit West so I figured I'd remedy this situation on a recent weekday night. I haven't been out to the clubs much in the last while, but I've been on a little spree as of late. I've been focusing on places that are new to me, or that I haven't been to in a good while. Nikki's certainly fit the bill in that regard.

How to get to Nikki's Roadhouse for a GTAer: By far the easiest way to get there for a GTAer is to head West on the 401. If my memory serves me it's a little over 140km from where I exited the 401, to 'Toronto' according to the sign. Basically, head West on the 401 until you go, "Crap, I'm pretty much in Woodstock, did I go too far?", then you'll see the exit for Highway 2. Take that exit then head toward Paris. It'll be about a 5 minute drive, on the right (South), with good signage, so don't be like me and lurch to a slowdown every time you see a likely building. You can actually save a few KM if you take the exit prior to Highway 2, but this route is simpler. Torontojohn deserves a shout out for getting the pin in the right place on the map.

I've seen Nikki's described as a 'converted barn', but it was very dark when I got there. To me I saw a big sign, with a big sturdy looking building, with parking on three sides, and a modest wrap around awning to hide under. Outside of the front door is a big drum ashtray, and the impression of sturdiness was enhanced by the two sets of heavy double doors on the way in. By the time I got to the second set of doors I was thinking, "If all else fails at least I know where I can hole up with guns and canned beans during the zombie apocalypse." (I don't have any guns, FYI.) After I opened the doors I was confronted with... A small town bar. Maybe a bit of a rocker tinge. Maybe a little shabby. But basically your typical small town bar. There was NO door fee.

Once you get in the doors and turn right you walk past the stage, across the main floor of the bar, and at the far end are the washrooms and the bar. It's a fairly typical bar as far as that goes. There is one row of elevated seating and tables between the main bar and the rest of the tables on the main floor. The men's room wasn't great, heck, I wouldn't even call it good, but it was cleanish (maybe because the bar was quiet), had soap, paper towles, and TP, and was far less of a horror show than some of the SC washrooms in the GTA. Needless to say there was NO washroom attendant.

When I got there the bar was quiet. Hey, it was a weekday night. I'd say fewer than a dozen patrons (with people coming and going), and 8 - 10 dancers. First, I have to say that the dancers I saw looked pretty darn good, and only one was a little older than I'd have liked (but she was nice to talk to). Most of what I've read has said that the dancer quality can vary pretty wildly here. I have no benchmark for that, but I was liking what I was seeing. Second, HALF the dancers on shift were black girls, and yummy. The white girls were mostly "girl next door" types, good looking, and stripperish. Not the heyday of the Brass Rail good looking, but good looking none the less. The black girls dressed the place up a little more, and looked pretty damn good to me. No dancer was BBW, I'd say the dancers ranged from fit to 'slim but softer', with one black girl having just a little more weight but still looking good.

I settle in for a decent stay. I plan to have a few quick beer ($5.something), then to water (sub-$5) my way back to fully road legal over the ensuing hours. The bouncer did seem pretty concerned with potential drivers over drinking, and that's a good thing. Most of the dancers come by. We chat. All of them had good attitude. I had actually just resolved to go to the VIP with the slightly older white dancer who wasn't really my cup of tea, but who was nice and interesting to talk to, for a 2 or 3 song test drive when I literally bumped into one of the white GND types, with light brown to dirty blonde hair, who was reasonably slim and had a decent set of tits. I said to myself, "Yip, that's my test drive!" and headed for a 3 song stint in the VIP with her instead. Her service was good, and she was eager to please, but I knew that this was just the warm up.

On the VIP-- There was NO cover for me. I entered an area to the right of the bar when facing the bar. The area is well partitioned, if a little bright where I was, and peeking eyes couldn't see in from the main floor. I went to the VIP twice, and both girls took me to the same secluded booth to the far left of the VIP. The one disappointment was the VIP booth. In it was a low, well worn, green fabric loveseat that leaned a little far back, and a lonely chair that was used as a table. Now, I like the loveseat as it was soft and roomy, but: 1) Ewwww... fabric, and 2) too far back. My suggestions would be: Dim the lighting in the VIP just a smidge. Don't make it dark, but it was pretty bright where I was, so just a (very little) bit dimmer. Also, I like the loveseats, but maybe something in (p)leather that's wipeable, with (just a little) more of an upright back. Maybe some tiny end tables. Despite my two trips to the VIP, I only saw the one booth, so maybe another one would be more to my liking. I was pretty focused on the dancers in question at the time and not doing a survey.

Next up to the VIP was the one black girl I had my eye on in particular. Slim but soft. Pretty. Nice big tits with responsive nipples. We hit it off pretty good, the banter was good and not too forced, and she was a fun girl who provided liberal service. No overt mention of extras was made, but I made it clear that I was principally interested in dances. This made her a little tentative with me, but she gave great dances, and I (and I'd like to think 'we') had a lot of fun after she figured out that my limits were, "$20 per song but I'm happy to let things go where they go." A 'good sit' later and I left feeling pretty good about the universe in general. Shortly after that I left.

I had no drama on either trip to the VIP, but I 'never' have drama. No overt menu was dropped by either girl I went to the VIP with, but I made it clear I was in it for $20/per dances (which were good). I would consider this place high mileage. I have every confidence that anything you can find in a GTA club could be found here, but probably at rural highway rates. All and all I had a good time, and would repeat. Now if I could only get there again in a sensible way...

TL;DR-- After a long drive I discovered a well signed small town bar, that had 8-10 good looking women, though one was a fair bit older than is my preference. Half were yummy black girls, the rest were GND-white-girl-dancer types. Attitudes were good and the ladies liberal. Cheap beer and no fees. A good time was had. I was more than pleasantly surprised. The VIP could use some work.

Nice and very detailed review. I am very surprised a SC in the middle of nowhere would have dancers that would provide mileage at all. You would think that any girl dancing here would not do so since what other choices do the men of this town have?

I had a dancer from Fils tell me she likes to drop by here every once in a while to work. She's a gnd type and going by the dancers you saw, that seems to be the theme there.

I think it's the fact it's in the middle of nowhere that encourages mileage. London is a half hour away and you get next to no mileage there. Kitchener is a half hour the other way and similar story. I know lots of guys that go there because of that. Nikkis is about 6 or 7 miles east of the actual city of Woodstock, in the street corner town of Creditville. As the OP mentions, you can shave a few miles off the drive by getting off at the Drumbo exit (250), going right at the end of the ramp 3 KM, left at country rd 22, and at highway 2, hang a left and then right into their parking lot. Saves probably 8 or 9km. But the most direct route, is as he says, and highway 2 is exit 238, 112km west of the 427, so not really a daunting drive.

I've been to this club at least 80-90 times. Almost always half black girls that are
nothing to write home about. Bring extra money as garbage cans have recently been
added to all booths, if you get my snow drift.

It sounds kind of backwards though. Clubs in the middle of nowhere usually have no other competition around like say in the GTA. So such a level of service does not need to be provided.

How do clubs in the middle of nowhere get customers though. I mean, It's not that much in the middle of nowhere. London with 360,000 and K-W with 400,000 are only a half hour away. Woodstock is 35,000 right next door and Brantford with what 90,000 is only 15 minutes away. Hell, I know guys that cruise in from Hamilton, only a bit more than 30 minutes away itself. If it was hours from civilization, sure, you take what you can get. But to survive, this place needs people to drive away from what they already have access to, and why would they do that?

Given that I was only there the once: 1) I'm sure the quality of girls on shift varies, and 2) I'm sure that tastes vary. Would I necessarily describe the black girls on shift as, 'Congo Sun Godesses that will change a man for life.'? No, and I didn't. Would I say good to pretty damn good? Yes, and I did. I could certainly do worse than finding any one of the black girls I saw on shift in that club in my bed on a Saturday morning. Personally, minus the one (white) girl who was a little long in the tooth for my tastes (but nice), I'd consider any dancer I saw in that club to be VIPable for a 'good sit' if we hit it off.

That's the thing right there... Minus the Manor of yore, and pretty much the Niagara of Yore, most of the Southern pan handle is a bit of a mileage desert (and that's without even mentioning extras for the guys that like that). Given where the club is they probably don't have to deal with a lot of random bylaw types (or random bylaws), and you can tell that they want to keep LE off their back as far as drunk driving goes. Whomever owns the place 'cares enough' about it to keep it cleanish, in repair, and a friendly place. Throw in having decent mileage-- I can see why the place is still here.

I don't know which place would have shabbier VIP area than Nikki's lol. They use old office cubicle dividers there.

Anything new at Nikki's? I'm 90% sure I'll be heading there for my second time in a few weeks. Of course I'll report back here after.

Not many shabbier, but many that were visibly dirtier, even though the couches at Nikki's gave me the heebie-jeebies there was nothing visible and nasty. On the shabby side the place on Evens with all of it's names was and is worse. Some of the defunct places on the Danforth and near the Airport also come to mind. Maybe a couple of other long gone places. So yeah, it's was pretty near the bottom. I though I read here that the VIPs at Nikki's got a reno?

Have been going there for 15 years or so. Went a few weeks ago, service was unbelievably slow, we were treated somewhat rudely, and the dancers completely ignored us. 4 guys there for 4 hours and two girls came to us during that time. We go there often (or used to, but not now) and we spend money there. It's not often that I've thought it best to stay in London LOL.

If you haven't been seen at the club in a while, sometimes it is a little hard to get the show started. I've experienced that type of situation too. When you don't get approached by the end of your first beer, during a semi busy or busy night, your best bet is to approach a girl yourself. Once the other girls see you going to the VIP, they'll know you're in the market for dances and they won't be so hesitant.

It's funny, but sometimes girls are apprehensive about walking up to groups. I don't know if it's because they might be intimidated by the group or their behaviour, or maybe because the dancer might be new and somewhat insecure and apprehensive. Then again, sometimes that's not the case at all, the girls looking at the benefits of networking and such.

I usually sit at the bar and there's lots of activity going on, regardless of how many times you might say no.

I've heard the case made that if you approach the dancer it shows that you're into her so she may try less hard in the VIP. Even if that's true the alternative can often be not going to the VIP with the girl you actually want. I've never found the latter to be worse than the former. So give it a beer, or two if you're not driving, then approach her when she's not with other potential customers. Dancers usually won't bite, unless you ask. :)

It can also be the 'time waster' factor... If nobody has popped their VIP cherry yet a lot of dancers may see it as a table of guys looking for laughs and company, but not necessarily anything that will see a dancer get more than free drinks and a lot of copped feels. It's easier to get away from one 'time waster' as opposed to a group of them, IMHO.

I did make it to Nikki's at the end of the THIS summer... Real life, and few other strip club trips, have kind kind of kept me away from TERB.

The trip to Nikki's was a gong show. I got stuck in night construction on a bunch of times. There were long waits. It was a week night. I meant to have a few hours, but I got there about an hour an a half before closing. A now necessary stop for gas didn't help. So I got to the club, and it was dead. Uugh. The dancers, while still surprisingly good, were far less good than on my previous trip and more than one fell into the 'no' colmn. Uugh. The VIP was far more open than the last time. Uugh. (But seemed less dilapidated.) Salvation came in the form of a lovely black dancer in her late 20s. She was slender. Had nice bumps. A warm face. And was chill. Attractive, but not in a hot and plasticy sort of way. She seemed really happy I was OK guy with more than lint in my wallet. I probably had the best $20 per song dances I've had in YEARS. They were fucking great. No mention of total was made, and I had no idea what the total was. I handed the $140 I visible in my wallet over, and she gave me a terrific goodbye, so I guess we were good. So things went from 'gong show' to 'still gets me hot thinking about it'.

So yeah, this place is still good in my book.

I also visited Nikki's recently. Because of the traffic congestion endemic on the 401 at dinner hour, I stopped for a rest at Nikki's last night at 6PM. the place was dead, save for the affable Katie the bartender, the nice lady in the kitchen and the frizzy-haired wise-guy DJ. There were only four single customers and five dancers, two blondes, two black and one dark-haired cutie with a high-pitched accent of undeterminable origin.

I asked one of the blonde girls to dance for me in the VIP. We chose one of the more private corners of the VIP. She mentioned that, on the weekends, the very private rooms behind the stage were available for more intimate moments. For the life of me, I cannot recall the blonde's name. She had no tattoos but humongous charlies of the DDD enhanced variety on a lovely body. She looked the stereotypical stripper. She stripped down and settled down to six dances whereby she sang a Hal Jolson song for me. I was distressed that she would not sing anything from Billy Joel or Frank Sinatra. For the finale, she did hand me a single handi-wipe to expunge the splooge I spewed listening to Suwannee River.

Altogether, I would rate this a good visit, though not as good as the cheaper, more personal VIPs ramblings here in Windsor, but I would recommend Nikki's as a good change-of-pace from the humdrum horseshit of everyday life.
