Spent the long wknd at the cottage & kind of made amends with the neighbors. Just luv hearing the pep talk,your almost 40 you need to start settling down & thinking about a family & not just meaningless relationships( yeah if i wanted free advice i'd watch Dr Phil u dumb asses but i digress). Anyways got to waterski,drink,play some beach volleyball,drink & eat some awesome lobster my neighbor brought from the east coast. All in all not a bad long wknd, & found out maybe i'm not as young as i feel...
My special friend was there & made me breakfast Saturday morning only to hear someone banging on the front door. Nice girl she is, she goes to open it & comes running back to the kitchen with the front door open & jumps in my arms saying daddy there's a man with an axe. I'm like wtf & walk to the front door to see my tree guy with an axe on his shoulder. "Didn't mean to bother you,what wood do you want split first". Luvvy still in my arms & now grabbing my wood says yes daddy what wood first as buddy starts laughing & apologizes saying i'm sorry i thought it was your daughter. Well at least it made for interesting dinner conversation after the table got quiet when she sat beside me at the "adult table". Some people can't see pass a number,my answer to that fuk em!

I have been in the same position, with an opportunity to bed a young girl I was mentoring, and I didn't, for many reasons that should be obvious to a thoughtful person. Your neighbours might have a point about putting away childish things, they might also be hypocrites, but don't shoot the messenger just because you don't like the message.
