That's hilarious.

I was wondering how this old thread came back to life. I was rereading it and thinking, "not the kind of girl you take camping to Algonquin Park". Then I read her online dating profile and she says point blank she is not into camping. Har.

I stand by my original comment that she is past her best before date. And as Russian Pootanas go, she is WELL past her best before date. So much so that she has resorted to OK Cupid.com.

There is no way that is 37 either.

She makes $150K-$200K?

I'm surprised DioGuardi chose her (judging by her ad).

That's what she collects in Alimony from DioGuardi.

I thought it was interesting that in her info she says she works in the medical profession, but in the profile she is an "interior decorator", hmmm.

She may very well be a Russian trained Physician and have practiced in Russia.

It is extremely difficult for a practicing physician in Russia to become licensed to practice in the U.S. or Canada. Indeed this is a significant problem area for North American - Russian marriages. She is a physician an important person at home she marries (not infrequently for love) but when she arrives in Canada or the U.S. she isn't even able to become licensed as a practical nurse let alone an R.N. or a Physician and has to start in on a whole new career. To describe this as a real stress on a marriage is like describing Krakatoa as an 1880's volcanic eruption.

I thought of that, but really? I can see how she wouldn't want to be with a guy who makes less money than her, however, she might if he's young and virile - a boy toy.

The inconsistency you note is another red flag.

She's such an obvious Russian gold digger. She offers nothing in her write up why she would be a good catch. Just lists off a whole bunch of demands. I severely doubt she's a "frustrated" Russian doctor.

This OK Cupid profile is satire...right? It can't be real.
About 3 years ago, I signed up for Seeking Arrangement out of curiosity. Dio Gardi's ex is sane and tame compared to some of the wacko women ranting and strutting on SA.

I know a guy that made it big and wanted to have something in his life to spice it up, so he dumped his wife and took up with a foreign woman. He had to pay big on his alimony because his wife supported him as a waitress when he was going to school. She got 50% plus of this guy even his pension. His partners and their wives did not accept the new wife and slowly eased them out of events. The woman was in her early 40s when he took up with her and now in her mid 50s, so if you met him today you would wonder why he took up with her. His kids and grand kids barely talk to him. He has outgrown his sports cars. He has a dumpy mid 50s wife with the 50s on the horizon. He use to have scads of money in the bank, but now is under water slightly because he had to buy a new house and country house and have to pay his 50% plus alimony

This guy I know and Phil could have just prowled around and got some divorcee pussy. Just living a privileged life that is 3 or 5 times better than most people is not enough for these guys, not only do they have to live a lifestyle that is 20 or 50 times better than other people they have to show that they live better off than anyone else, there is nothing left for these guys except to boost their egos. They fell good until the next guy comes along and shows them that he twice as rich.

I know of a very similar situation (save the new partner was not foreign). My advice which I keep repeating is that you don't have to approve of your father's actions but he is your father - he is (make an exception for this is you wish) a good person and has been a good father - don't act now in a way that years down the road you will come to deeply regret.

Also must say that the friends and their wives seem very shallow people.

It's the wives dishing out the judgement and the husbands figure that it's not worth the grief on this one to oppose the wife's position.

Older wives don't like to see their friends and contemporaries dumped by the husband because he's got a newer model on line. (It makes them think that they are next.) So they make sure that the guy pays the price.

I just want to ad that previous to the new lady coming into the scene, everyone at the table ate kosher ( at least at home ) It was when one of the partners ate non kosher ( food and women ) that the old gang slowly eased them out of the scene.

Very often that is the way of the world we live in.

Directly above the center of the earth
A lot of people have control issues.

As for the Russian tart- the words succubus and vampire keep coming to mind. Men, do not succumb to the song of the Siren. Never let them gain control of your wealth.
You also might have guessed, I have Russian woman issues. But in my own defense, I come by these issues honestly.
