Would the RCMP pass on the client info to the Toronto Police or do they have the jurisdiction to come and charge the clients in Toronto?
Bill C-36 is a federal law so RCMP can bust in and charge you but I don't see that happening. So far the law is left up to how individual police depts handle enforcing Bill C-36.

Phew. I'll wait until they pass the ontario or toronto law before I worry.

Used my actual phone to call Mirage when the burner was acting up... am I screwed? Anything I can do now?
Ya we remember you. You were the one that called enquiring about booking one of our limos. Or was it that stag for your friend ? Or was it for some security staff for your corporate event. Or maybe it was another one of the half dozen services we provide here, we are a multi function entertainment company dude. Feel free to call as often as you like.

You'd a thought Bonbons was a reputable agency, too..
but their phone list ended up in the wrong hands (to be clear - it wasn't LE!) and many guys (myself included) were sent inappropriate text messages.
They had my number too and I haven't received any inappropriate text messages, except maybe that text from Rogers asking permission to text me when I pass near a retailer that has a product deal that might interest me. It was nice of them, but I ignored the offer. :)

I've used my own phone for years and never worried.

A friend of my uses a Burner phone and told me that one of the SPs could tell it was a computer generated # and replied that they need a valid phone #. So that makes me wonder if a Burner is as good a a actual cell phone, before I try it. Has anyone had a similar experience? How can you tell a Burner from a real cell?

A separate phone that you use for hobbying only is far better than using a burner app on your primary phone, for myriad reasons oft-discussed.
