Heard on the news that Burger King who now owns Tims is going to dump the Timbit as a cost cutting measure! They might want to look at some of their OWN product first! I have no idea how BK stays in business. There's one two blocks from me, you never see the cars in the lot like at McD, Wendys, Harveys etc..

Private Equity firms do NOT make good owners. At best, 3G capital will slowly replace all the top people at Timmies with their own handpicked shitheads with no experience in the industry or in Canada and keep on discontinuing products and fucking up the brand. At worst they'll borrow heavily against its assets, suck it dry, and then bankrupt it forever Mitt Romney style. Harper should have a timbit shoved up his ass for every dollar that leaves the company and country from this whole debacle.
