The megastar was seen sporting the niqab in the promo for her Superpower duet with Frank Ocean, 27.

But religious activists accused her of disrespecting Islam by pairing the headgear with a flesh-flashing outfit.

Now she has started a fresh storm with Twitter user Karesa Warner saying: “Dear Beyonce: Do you think you’re going to get away with wearing a version of Islamic head-dress, niqab, while promoting your Demonic music?”

Dina added: “Quoting our holy Quran and dressing in a niqab isn’t a fashion statement you dumb beyonce.”

She was also blasted by feminists for modelling a garment seen as oppressive to women.

Dana Yager wrote: “Sorry, Beyonce. Probably not in the best interest for women’s rights to make the niqab fashionable. Just sayin’.”

The 33-year-old released the clip online yesterday to promote a special edition of her self-titled 2013 LP, due out on Friday.

At the same time she uploaded another 13 videos from the “visual album”, released last December.

They include a steamy promo for her track Haunted which shows her writhing around in black lingerie.

The song is guaranteed to get pulses racing when it features in upcoming movie 50 Shades Of Grey.

I think it is so wrong to insult religions


For every fundamentalists nut bar there are thousands of religious people who believe you should treat your neighbor as yourself and they would not dream of forcing their faith on someone else and are the first to give to their neighbors when they are in need


So called artists who do insult religion are taking advantage of freedom of speech laws to pretend they are making an intellectual statement when they are acting shallow

I never said non-Christians are smart.

That's actually very accurate Yoga Face. While I was still working on the road there was a Halal Deli I used to have lunch at (delicious Chicken Biryani), I had to fight with them just to pay. I tried to save a Muslim's life, had it been a heart attack I may have just managed to keep him alive - unfortunately it was a brain aneurysm. For a while they treated me like Clint Eastwood in Gran Torino. O was invited to a Ramadan feast, when it comes to feeding you they are worse than Italians.
