Well, the first paragraph states the rationale quite clearly:

"Interior Minister Gilad Erdan said those involved in such an attack had to realise that there were likely to be repercussions for their families."

When you are dealing with lowlife scum, you need to get creative to try to stop them.
If someone knows that their family is going to suffer because of their actions, yet they continue to carry out those actions, then fuck them.
I feel bad for the family, but there is only one person to blame.

If I knew that drinking and driving could get me killed and seriously affect the well being of my family, yet I continue to drink and drive, and then get killed... who is there to blame? The bar? The alcohol manufacturers? The car manufacturers?

And that low brow rationale is called zionist douchebaggery

You ever heard of cruel and unusual punishment. So now the Israelis are punishing a child for what his nutbar father did...and people like you are so quick to say its "ok" wow!!! Do you think all the Germans and Japanese should have been executed for WWII? This thinking is the EXACT thinking that Hamas feels allows them to fire rockets at Israel. Like I said, both sides are the same.

It's called 'cause and effect'... 'every action has an opposite and equal reaction'. It's simple physics... if you can't understand that you cannot beat physics, then I don't know what else to say.

You are pathetic... Israel says "your wife and son will be homeless if you attack us", yet he still attacks, now his family is homeless, but it is Israel's fault. That is called just plain idiotic douchebaggery.

Yet it's Israel's fault that the father had no regard for the well being of his family. You sir are a nutbar.

Like I said, what other developed nation acts like this? Did the Israeli Policeman who shot the arab kid in the back with an assault rifle get his house demolished? Did he lose his residency? Were there any ramifications to his children? Pure, unadulterated RACISM.

Laws of physics? You need to stop wearing that tinfoil hat. It's international law that applies. No collective punishment.

But, if you want to talk about cause and effect, you might want to enter the world of reality and acknowledge the brutal 40 year illegal military occupation. That's a cause and boy, is there an effect.

If he gets sent to jail, then he will have lost his father... that isn't punishment?

The problem is, what do you do to a person to punish them for their actions if they are dead? You cannot do anything... so you make it clear that their loved ones will suffer in their stead. It is not racism... it is creative thinking to a solve a difficult problem.

So which one is it? 'Stop wearing the tinfoil hat', or 'let's talk about cause and effect'?
You can't have it both ways... make up your mind.

Er don't you think death is already punishment? You don't think the Arab family has lost its father?

So Canada and Mexico are constantly lobbing mortars across the borders, while digging tunnels under them?
Mexico - tunnels YES have you not heard about them. Mortars no, cos the range is too great, but due to the open borders they are facing much greater threats.
