New Name

Gents/Ladies,

Given the impending changes to the industry, I've been advised by a TERB member who is a very smart guy business wise and in other ways, that a new name is in order, seeing as the Sinful one is a tad too overt. This I already knew, but he gave me the kick in the tushy that I needed during our last adventure together.

I'm thinking of Sophia, as he suggested I keep that part of my brand name, Luxe.

However, I'm open to suggestions, funny, serious or otherwise. Just not rude of course.

Sincerely Yours,
Miss Sinful Sophia (SS)

YOU seriously think the word " Sinful " has some legal issues? It in of itself denotes no sexual act or implied act. Sorry not buying there is any real concern here

Hmmm, a little wordy or verbose even for me nobody123, but it just might work. LOL

Although I have yet to have had the pleasure, based on what I have read about you "Scintillating Sophia" would suit you very well.

Awesome 40micmic, but were aiming for a last name here.

I think he feels that my current brand name doesn't properly depict me or the dimension of my services and is lacking subtlety. I will however work that into my bio when I get a new and improved website, a la Harper changes. I'm looking into a .cc addy. Fred seems like a smart business man, so I'll follow his and others lead.

I think the smart businessman is just transferring his own fears on to you. Unless you suddenly become Schoolyard Soliciting Streetwalker Sophia, I don't see how you have anything to worry about from a legal sense in regards to what name you use. If you feel the need for a change, then just be Sophia, you don't want to be making a major re-branding at this point, I don't think.

Thank You for the valuable input DanJ!

I guess that would make me like Madonna or Prince who only need one name. LOL I know that in Greek (Σοφια) it means "wisdom" and in Prince fashion I could use the Greek symbol of wisdom and wealth, which is an owl, calling myself formerly "Sinful Sophia".

I hear you sister!

The only perceived benefit gained by simply going with Sophia is that it would solve a dilemma I'm having on another board. Just like Eminem/Slim Shady, gents would have to ask if it's the real Sophia. LOL

Rather than fluffy adjectives I would suggest factual information. "Sophia of Toronto", " European Sophia ", or however you want to describe yourself. Not proposing those specifically as much as suggesting words that carry information rather than opinion.

This new law is making some people become completely irrational.

Call yourself Sophia Oil Exploration, that way the Harper government will let you get away with anything. You might even be eligible for tax breaks and subsidies.

Yes you can... Just hold a toothbrush or some scope in your pictures. That way even if you're naked in the picture. That's merely coincidence
