Call to all Escorts: We need a Prostitute Registry on Terb.cc

The new law will soon be effective and every hobbyist will risk being targeted by LE. Fortunately for us we have Terb, which is registered in a foreign country and therefore not subject to Canadian laws and warrants.
The problem is that the large majority of escorts are on BP not on Terb and every time we take the plunge with a BP escort we will risk it.
If a large number of escorts register with Terb then hobbyists will use Terb like never before because it will be the only safe way to communicate with escorts and have all the info explicit on Terb through ads and PMs.
Through this call, I am also calling on Terb owners to offer a free account with ads for all prostitutes who would register before the bill becomes law. If Prostitutes have free accounts with ads for, say 6 months, then they will be known to us, and we will use their services because we will trust them. After the 6 months Terb can start charging them and I am sure they will not mind as their business will be thriving.
I predict that with the new law, Terb will be the sole resource in Hobbying and therefore very successful and profitable. If Terb does not want to go this route I know a lot of business owners will do it. The trick is who will get the largest prostitutes registry first? If Terb gets the largest registry then they will make a lot of $$$$$$. Good for them.

Or am I being too optimistic about the registry????

I would like to say that this is a good idea. But to tell you the truth, since I've been seeing regulars, I haven't been paying much attention to the new laws. LRH: please pardon me for having my head in the sand, but would you (or someone else) give a brief overview about how "things" will change etc?

There is a thread about the new bill ; I will try to find it and link it here. Anyone has that thread can link it here.

Maybe first of all....
lets refer to the ladies as companions or escorts

And who exactly are you targeting with this thread?
there already is a database of "ladies" on here
in the independent escort section

 to say the least

Prostitute is the "scientific" word so nothing wrong with it. Yes there are very few escorts on here but compared to BP it's like nothing.

Then go on BP with your Call to Arms!..(or Call to Pussy)!
WTF does posting your rant here accomplish??

Well take a poll...ask the ladies what they would prefer to be called...

I would do that if Terb was my business, but it's not. But I am hoping Terb owners listens to you and do exactly that because I agree this would be more efficient if posted on BP BEFORE the bill becomes law (after that Terb cannot post on BP because it would be illegal for them to do that).

I don't have a problem with scientific words (like prostitutes) which are by definition neutral; but it seems YOU have a problem with it, so YOU TAKE THE POLL!

This board's name begins with a "T", not a "C". You'll never get a large number of providers using this site, whatever incentives you provide.

Yes but a large number of escorts on BP do not even know the C board, and would register on Terb since Terb is the only safe resource for them after the bill is passed because it is registered in a foreign country. The C board is registered in Canada and is subject to Canadian laws and warrants.

Spit-balling here...
Maybe Terb server is sourced in a foreign country but does that protect Johns who log in from a Canadian sourced IP address? Does that Canadian connection open the door for LE to investigate?

They can investigate but they will not have the collaboration of Terb (so they will not have anything). If Terb hands out the info of their members, their business is dead.

LE can, through a valid search warrant, obtain anything they deem evidence in a criminal investigation.

From another country like some small island in the Pacific? no way. Their warrant is useless even in several European countries who see this Bill as "retarded".

Its all semantics,
Exactly. You can call it whatever you want; but if there is a registry in a foreign country (like Terb), hobbyists and escorts will be protected. Good business for SPs and we can continue hobbying. A lot of us would not contact BP escorts in a post bill era but would trust an escort registered on Terb. I will not trust even the rosy board as it is still registered in Canada.

I find a call for "a prostitute's registry" to be creepy beyond anything!

There's nothing that needs to be done, if sex workers find the medium useful, then they will migrate towards it themselves. There's no need to herd them up.
But after the bill is passed you will also have LE registered as escorts, so how do you know the girl is not LE. But if the escort is registered before the bill is passed then we know she is not LE (the join date is visible to everybody). That's the reason for the urgency of the call.

I can guarantee you that no LE is registering now on any escort boards in Canada, but once the bill is passed this will be different. For them, to shed doubts on the credibility of those boards , LE would register as SP and sting few hobbyists along with a good (bad) publicity of the stings and that's it (we will all have our doubts). And if they want to sting some SPs having incalls near schools, churches...etc, they can also register as a hobbyist and sting them. I think the registry is valuable for everybody (SPs and hobbyists).

If the race to establish this registry is to create a list that precedes the new laws taking effect, the list will be obsolete in a very short period of time. There is way to much turnover in the industry for the list to be of any value a year from now if the most important factor is the join date.

On the rosy board many escorts have been there for over 10 years. Good escorts last but the weak ones disappear fast; true.

+1000! It only takes a few minutes to read whats written over here to scare off most ladies, legitimate providers or newbies; money be damned. And honestly, only a small percentage of valuable clients come to the boards regularly so why should we subject ourselves to what goes on here for a minimal ROI? Something will present to offer a solution, it always does. C36 simply means clients will now have to go old school, not discuss services ahead of time and ensure the providers they see are established until the waters settle and we can clearly see how this law is going to be enforced. If the prevalent posting Terbites were a wee bit less crass, providers would be more than willing to be here...
