Without having to change your number? I don't want to use my personal number and I don't want to pay to activate a phone I'll only be using for a day and a half. Any suggestions? I would like to use it for texting and phone calls.
Is there an app to allow you to use your phone with a different number?

I use textnow, has worked for me thus far, you can even make calls on it with your textnow number and receive calls.

can I send picture messages as well?Ok, is there one that isn't based out of the states, or one that doesn't require use of your existing phone number?
textnow - you give them the area code you are in, and they give you a number with that or similar area codes. I think they are going 647's for 416's
