September is here. Playtime is over. Now it's back to work to pay for your indulgences. What is the price of living the good life? How much consumer debt are you carrying? Do not include student loans, mortgage, or debt incurred for investment purposes. Those debts are intended to increase your worth.

Include only debts you've racked up from buying vacations, entertainment, retail therapy, toys (fancy electronics, boats, ATVs, art, other) - discretionary items that are wants, not needs.

All inclusive. Holiday spending, toys, ladies etc. I owe a total of nothing. Zero.

Any other questions I can help you with?

Blood type. Sexual preference. Preferred food?

I take care of myself,...

YEP,... zero here too.

Don't believe wasting 21% of my income on credit charges for something I can't afford in the 1st place.

Would rather invest that amount,... and living well, and be able retire from the returns.

But of coarse, that's not what the socialists like to hear.

Also, its so funny when you here the socialists complain about how much money banks make,...HELLO.

Thirdcup are you including mortgages, educational loans, and/or business loans in "consumer debt"?

Mortgage - about a third of my place's current value.
Car loan - covered by my TFSA.
CC - no balance
Add other investments and I'm pretty comfortable.

I feel sad for people who hobby on credit.

No, I am not.

Do not include student loans, mortgage, or debt incurred for investment purposes. Those debts are intended to increase your worth.

Include only debts you've racked up from buying vacations, entertainment, retail therapy, toys (jewelry, fancy electronics, boats, ATVs, art, other) - discretionary items that are wants, not needs. This would most likely be credit card, but could also include personal line of credit, bank loans, debts owed to individuals, ..

Then I messed up my answer. All my debt is for investment purposes. Been doing for over 15 years for real estate and it's been paying off big time. Now doing it for the purpose of creating a new business... tougher, but getting there.

You should get a no fee rewards card...many banks offer them...i put EVERYTHING on my card...from a $6.00 drink to 6 figure purchases...the points add up...why not do it
The title should read "How much bad debt are you carrying?"
+1

Debt free...though with some money tied up in real estate and stocks
