But christian fathers, buddist monks on the other hand...
Lots of Buddhist monks will not perform mixed marriages. Some religions do, but quite a lot don't. Yet you are singling out Jews and not being critical of Catholics, Muslims, etc.

Why?

OK,then instead of blaming the religions as basketcase did, you should blame the state that does not allow civil marriages.
It is a gap in Israeli law the should be fixed but it is neither racist not discriminatory. It is the result of trying to give each religion the maximum freedom to practice its beliefs. Israel allows Muslim families to use Sharia law family courts which is an incredibly tolerant and inclusive thing to do.

In fact it represents such a complete separation of church and state that the state is essentially not involved in marriage law at all.

That is admirable. That it has unpleasant gaps around civil marriage is unfortunate but it is the result of a desire to be as tolerant as possible.

You need to complete your high school education. Marriage is a legal status, not religion.

Israel has chosen to be a Jewish state instead of being a democracy.
Live with it.
And the xenophobic teachings of Zionism has taken deep roots:

"Israeli Jews are more opposed to intermarriage than Israeli Arabs, with fully 75 percent of Jews saying they would refuse to marry someone of a different religion, a new poll by Haaretz found.

Among Arabs, only 65 percent said they wouldn’t marry someone of a different religion.

Fully a third of Arabs said that religion wasn’t a factor in choosing a spouse, whereas only one-fifth of Jews said the same. In addition, 60 percent of Jews said they would object in principle to one of their relatives dating a non-Jew, compared to 54 percent of Arabs who said they would object to a relative dating a non-Arab.

The poll, conducted by the Dialog company this week under the supervision of Prof. Camil Fuchs, found that even among secular Jews, opposition to intermarriage was high: Almost two-thirds of secular respondents said they would refuse to marry a non-Jew."

In Israel solemnization of marriage is a religious function. The state dies recognize mixed marriages. It doesn't solemnize ANY marriages.
No, marriage is a legal concept and entity created by the state. Since it is a government created legal status, it is not religious. Israel has chosen not to provide a secular or civil mechanism and process in Israel for it's citizens who want to intermarry or simply have a non-religious ceremony. Only the state can create such a mechanism and process.

As for your claim that Israel separates religion and state, you need to educate yourself. The Chief Rabbi's of Israel are paid for by the government. So, rather than a separation of religion and state, in Israel, the government is in bed with Jewish religious leaders. The leaders who say that Jews can't intermarry are government employees.

It's also an issue with Judaism because it doesn't allow marriages with non jews. Your posts seem to be biased against just one side. Why don't you criticize Rabbis who don't celebrate mixed marriages ?
Sort of debating against your own point. You are the one who chose to focus on Muslim religious weddings.

There are no mixed marriages because Israel allows clerics the freedom to marry people as their religion describes. They should have civil marriages but that isn't a world shattering or racist issue.
