I am, however, a fan of the event.

So without further ado what do you think ?

Germany or Argentina ?


I think it will be Germany by two ... I just cannot decide whether the score will be 3-1 or 4-2.

Argies are playing a heavy catenaccio, Germany's going to need a wild card to upset their balance: Ozil out - Goetze in.

Everyone cries for Argentina, they didn't bring a trequartista making them easy to defend against, turning Messi into a common schmo.

Germany used their wildcard, this is what a trequartista can do for you: Goetze. I'm not a fan of Ozil but since I love him to tiny bits....

Why did Messi get a trophy, the MVP of the tournament was Schweinsteiger.

Kathleen, you have to these things when you're running a pool. I took a hit when Colombia couldn't exploit Brazil's weakness but overall I did ok. At it just proves my point that you can't win with a 4-3-3, took many cooks spoil the broth. All Argentina managed to do was render Messi useless. Awesome defense, but that was not enough.
