God is on our side, maybe.

Well, that is a good thing. True faith would tell us that we must be tolerant and accepting of other peoples' lifestyle choices. We are not the ones to judge. Evangelicals would have us believe verbatim the scriptures, even if the translations are all wrong. They are blinded by their hypocrisy, IMNSHO.This is the Anglican church , the same one that marries same sex couples, not to be confused with fundamentalist evangelical church
Thanks for this shakenbake. This is heartening stuff. It gives lie to the Conservative's claims that in relation to C-36 they have Faith Groups on their side. They do, but only some, the more extremist Evangelicals, which actually represent a fairly small proportion of Canada's population. I'm glad the more mainstream Faith Groups are starting to speak out.

Just what did you mean by irony? I believe that if you understood what I wrote, you would not have chuckled. Organised 'religion', no matter what denomination, is a sham, and only true faith will lead us to what is right. My father quit going to church when he was young, but had faith in God. He saw through the fakes, such as the evangelicals (such as the ones in the fucking conservative party of Canada), the biggots and the hypocrites who hide behind 'faith'. That was what I was talking about, and I have taken fater my father in this respect. Any one with true faith would not subject any one else to injustice or harm; that is what will happen to sex workers under C-36 if it passes.Sorry to sidetrack here, but the irony of this post has me chuckling.
carry on....

On an aside, I think that canada-man is right. Humanity is against Bill C-36.
