Bill C-36: A Possible Workaround

Hey everyone,

I wonder if this would work: instead of the ladies advertising their full range of services they merely offer short "mini-dates". Lets say 5 minutes for $20. Incall or outcall it works either way.

During the 5 minutes she could offer kissing, fondling and mutual groping. But clothes stay on. So far I think no laws have been broken.

At the end of the 5 minutes either one can offer to upgrade to what they both really have in mind. LE would have a tough time launching sting ops as ther are probably zero policewomen who are willing to be kissed, groped and fondled by strangers for 5 minutes in the line of duty.

There's an obvious side benefit here too that has nothing to do with LE. If after 5 minutes the guy didn't feel the chemistry or the girl didn't like the guy, either one can decline to proceed.

Until sexual activities are defined we don't know if kissing and fondling and groping would not qualify for that. I fear that even lap dancing may fall in that definition. The idiot injustice minister who stood up like an imbecile in the news conference on June 4th doesn't know his own laws and I bet he wouldn't know what sexual activities are if asked. What a bunch of idiots these Cons are and liberal leader is no better.

If a term is not defined in a law or precedent cases, then the courts look to the ordinary meaning of the word, not from the Bill Clinton lexicon.

However, the 'workaround' might not even work in sting operations. Undercover female cops might engage in light foreplay. LE could even engage certain SPs that have no qualms about doing undercover work.

I like it And if you are still busted, which is very unlikely, at least you had the chance to make out and feel up a cop for a few minutes. After the bust, if you were a good kisser, she might even contact you later to work things out. Unless it is a gay male cop in drag, which would make getting busted and working things out later doubly depressing.

Girls can say what they want in private, as in the OP scenario. Think the girls can even post the ads on the internet without personal legal risk. Is ok for the girls to say DFK, BBBJ, DATY, CIM is $120. Once the guy says ok and/or hands over the money, he is busted if she is a cop. If the girl is in a public place, it is a different story and the girl can be busted as in streetwalkers.
