How do you think C-36 will affect the MP industry, especially the more well know spas in the GTA like AGS, Steeles Royal, Allure, HFH, etc? I traditionally see SPs and had my first MP experience last summer at Airport Golden Spa and enjoyed it. Is a "rub and a tug" considered "sex" under this bill?


I assume that most GTA spas are licensed by their local municipalities. Would C-36 override local laws and licensing?

It's a very confusing area which I doubt the conservatives have given thought to. These establishments are licensed to provide services of "sexual inclinations" which I think are the same as a sexual service.

Probably the biggest problem with this bill is that it failed to define what a sexual service actually is.

Yes it is a federal law.
A rub and tug is a sexual service too.
According to what will be the law shortly you will be charged with a criminal activity if you buy a rub n tug. If it's just a massage wink wink maybe it's ok. MPs have always operated on this premise.

Raiding of MPs used to be more common years back. It may be a bit more difficult to prove compared to the old law. Before a cop would go in get a tug proclaim it a bawdy house and arrest everyone there. That seems a bit more vague now.

The backgrounder to c-36 specifically refers to MPs as one of the types of businesses that would fall under the profiteering provisions.

It seems pretty clear what the legislators want.

Although, they haven't legislated the meaning of sexual service, so prosecutors will have to contend with case law on what is sex and prostitution.

MPs might be profiteers, but first you've got to prove that sex is being sold behind closed doors. Not that easy to do.

That said, closing down a few MPs is a surefire way to get people with money interested in court challenges. Now you're shutting down entire businesses.

I'd love to be a website designer right now. They'll be super busy changing all the websites to remove references to sexual activities. There will be a HUGE increase in "companionship" services.

Touching her boobs...french kissing, daty etc.....most MPAs need something back from the client to initiate the goodies. They won't just whip out the off the menu menu (only referring to top MPs). I only had one MPA do that the rest come out of the dynamic of the session. Also do you really think a cop will go naked for undercover stuff.

In a court of law a police officer is considered an expert witness. Who would the court believe the officer or the MPA? We all know police officers never lie...

I am replying to your undercover cop. It is not easy to catch the MPAs performing the sexual acts unless they barrage through the doors but then they could have signals like change the station, turn up music or something to signal the girl. So it will be hard to prove there is sex going on. I have no idea about the rules or the proposed bill or what will or will not be illegal. Will need to wait and have out bare brothers TOFTT and report back.

Well pls pass me the names, however the time actually two times it did happen I lost interest in the girl knowing that she just whips it out. I always enjoy to work at it to get further.

Anyways if it is a mixed bag the MPAs will need to up their game and be way more subtle and observant to screen out a cop. Not hard to do but my original statement stands that it will be hard for cop to do unless he commits an offence and starts sucking on their nipples or licking their ass.

The MPA is completely in the clear here as she would be communicating in private. Other than that, there are no other laws she has broken, except maybe a by-law. It's the cop who would be breaking the law. And just because she offers sex to the cop, doesn't mean she did it with anyone else, so his testimony would be useless against any other client at the spa.

I don't think so. You're inside a building, with a front door and receptionist and then inside a room within that building, which also has a door. Also, the TO by-law specifically prohibits locking the front door or any door within the spa while the spa is open, I believe.

I'm interpreting this the same as anyone else, but I don't think the child nearby thing means through walls and doors.

So, the thing about not being able to work out of hotels... if you were discussing the sale of sex in the hotel lobby, I think you've got a problem. But if you are already inside your hotel room, I think you'd be ok, unless you have a kid with you of course.

The danger is an MPA who turns on her clients/spa. Wouldn't take much for a disgruntled employee to help the police with a sting and then down go the owners of the spa.
