Hard to say who won the debate but Kathleen Wynne sure lost it.

For Horwath and Hudak depends who you went in supporting I guess.

Believe it or not Horwath and Hudak need each other to win many votes so they can win on the split votes.

Dancing with the Stars vote

HORWATH = 7/10

HUDAK = 7/10

Wynne = 4/10

All the Liberals have to run on is demonizing their opponents through voter scare tactics. It remains to be seen if that will work. Right now I forsee a conservative minority govt, thanks to the idiot voters in Toronto who vote Red no matter what.

I'm obviously biased but I think your score for Horwath is too high. She was struggling at times and it looked like she hadn't rehearsed her closing statement.

I thought Wynne came across as a little too angry. Maybe that was just me.

If it was a horse race - Hudak and Horvath were both first out of the gate and by the end of the race Hudak was ahead of Horvath and poor old Seabiscuit was at least a dozen lengths behind.

Very rarely does an incumbent doe well unless the opposition are totally incompetent, as everyone else piles on and the premier generally has to just sit and take their best.

Horwarth 7/10- did well, closing statement could have been better-likely increased her case for the top job.

Wynne 6/10- did fine all things considered-likely held steady in her case for the top job

Hudak 3/10- very little substance, which is not surprising given that his whole campaign is based on a flawed job plan -likely decreased, or held steady in his case for the top job. He is sure not a candidate for "hope".

Seasoned politicians usually manage to hold their own, though. Think of Harper and McGuinty, respectively, in 2011.

Wynne was struggling.

It's actually amusing that Horwath and Hudak started with the 'you had a choice' line on the gas plants. Not as memorable as Mulroney, perhaps, but pretty effective. Wynne was clearly caught without an answer.

Who won the debate, after all the spin dies down, will be clear when the new talking points and ads surface.

If those are the results, Hudak gets first crack at forming a government. The Liberals would prop it up awhile to get some distance from the scandals.

Nope. Hudak will last a week while KW and AH convince LG he does not have the confidence of thr leg. He will offer government to Wynne.
