Gosh your new money is slippery - thought I had countefits

When I got some of your new slippery polymer money wondered if it was real! And big silver strips on 100's.

Shows how long its been, guess you changed a few years ago. Compared to old $10 (and $US) quite a difference in paper.

I understand keeping away from heat like toaster, but another report says it is good to 284 degree heat.

I had to do some research to be sure this money was real!

Costs about twice as much to produce but suppose to last 2.5 times as long.

OK will soon be ready for it to slip out of my hands into gals :eyebrows:

Occasionally they will stick together. The trick is to alternate them clear strip to either side.

I feel for all the OCD's who have to have they bills all the same way.

Raising my hand... and have them in order by denomination in my wallet (my CPA organized background!)

Now if just make them glow in the dark for your dark strip clubs. As I recall the backsides (at least on old bills) were easier to read in darker places...

Clearly, our boys at the central bank did not do their homework and field test the new bills properly....

Easier to slip out of your grasp when you visit the ladies Dave.:)

I hear Bill Clinton wraps them around his cigars as well.

Ask Monica when you get back to the US.

They do stick or seem thinner, which may give the impression that you're short.

Careful when even tellers count them off for you.

100 years from now, the American Territory, a wholly owned overseas dependency of the People's Republic of China, will continue to use paper banknotes, pennies, imperial measurements, etc. just because its inhabitants are too batshit crazy to accept change.

They are slippery. I used to keep bills loose in my pocket and I guess friction kept them there.

With the new ones if I pull my mobile phone or whatever out of my pocket any bills in there slip out and fall on the floor, they just slide against material that much easier. They also don't stay folded together on their own like the old money but instead splay around randomly in a disorganized way when loose in my pocket because they slide around.

I have taken to using a money clip now which I never used to do.

Yeah, as usual Canada f'd it up. Australia was one of the first to change to polymer, but the bills feel like paper, and fold. Why they chose these slippery mofos is a question we'll be asking for years. Even the banks hate them.

You have to admit though Dave, the new purple 10 is very pretty. :thumb:
I can't wait to see one... I just got 100s and 20s from Bank of America and had a old $10 from last trip about 5 yrs ago!

I'm still in Phoenix 104 degrees (F) today and my air conditioning is sick. Deal with it when I return from Canada. Will be there soon.

Welcome back to the great white north Dave!! :)
Too bad I leave just before your anniversary. You seem to be very creative in marketing etc.

Good point, I keep $20s in my pocket for strip clubs so don't have to take out wallet and see how much cash I have. In Phoenix I get a lot of $10 laps at a club so I have US $10's in one pocket and $20's in another.

In Canada maybe the strip club floors have more bills that have fallen out of pockets without customer realizing it. A bonus for dancers ...or cleaning crew.

Welcome back to Canada Dave, love your sig pic.
Not quite there yet.. The cat... I had a cat long ago Tara, now German Shephard Lacy.

I assume the Tara the cat story is heard on Canada - the attack cat that saved the little boy from the dog that bit its leg. The cat is going to "toss" the opening pitch at a ballgame next week. They have some trick for her to do it. The Ytube video supposes to have 10 million hits and was on all the network news in the U.S.
