Sadly, my experience with Julia was not so good as everyone else's. I had an afternoon appointment two days ago, which I set up about 2 hrs in advance. About 45 mins before my appointment I called PK to say I might be a bit early. The phone lady (sorry, I do not know her name) said no problem, when I arrive, call for the room number. I arrived 10 mins early and called for the room number. The phone lady (I wish I knew her name!) said she would call upstairs to be sure that Julia was ready. And this is where the problems began. I was on hold for a while. After 10 mins I hung up and called back and the phone lady said she was trying to figure out what was up. Another 10 mins and she got back to me to say that Julia had taken ill, she had eaten something that upset her and was not up to seeing another client.
Arrgh!!! It is possible that this is true, but it sure seems suspicious to me. And I had driven 45 minutes to get to the appointment, waited 20 mins and had paid for parking. So I was not happy at all. Now I have to say that the phone lady apologized and handled the call well, but the bottom line was just "I am sorry, can't do anything for you" (my words, not hers). So I was not happy. I guess that PK does not know that I am a pretty good client of theirs. In fairness, I have not had this problem with them before (nor any problems actually) but I remain frustrated two days later. Perhaps the issue is that Julia is a bit young and inexperienced, or maybe she actually did have bad luck with a food borne illness. Of course i will never know.
