I spend way too much time in the kitchen

Another quicky meal is a can of Ministrone soup in the pot and get it boiling, throw in a bowl of uncooked fussili pasta into the pot turn down and let simmer for half an hour. Handful of frozen peas and carrots optional.

Minestrone is one of my quick go-to meals. You can buy it canned and then add extra pasta or veggies, etc. but I do an easy homemade version with fresh zucchini and frozen peas and corn etc. It's easy because you can make a huge batch on a lazy afternoon and freeze it.

looks great ! is that avocado on top ?

I love avocado on my nachos. :)

Yummy!

Yup, chicks dig food.

But unlike men, they shit ice cream and their farts smell like roses.

Many women are moving away from the traditional role of cooking because it's supposedly oppressive.

Many cannot even boil water and so a man that can cook is very convenient, if he can vacuum, do the dishes and take care of he kids even better.

Women will never stop trying to reverse their traditional roles and try taking on the traditional roles currently held by men.

It's evident right now with more women excelling academically than men and graduating from higher learning.
Damn, I actually enjoy doing all that! I just finished cleaning up after making a nice light seafood pasta for lunch. Now I have to out the kids down for their naps and so I can get a few hours of work done.

I don't mind doing the chores around the house as long as it's shared respnsibility. I see it as a partnership. I would not be ok if I were the one working a full time job and doing the cooking and cleaning while the wife plays housewife (I.e., not working, just going to lunches and the club every day). I have a couple buddies in that situation. I tell them to fuck it. Split up and get a maid. It's cheaper.

That dish does not look like it is so difficult to throw together, one of the prerequisites of cooking well is to have something on hand to cook with. If you want to eat well then you will have to stock up. Some people I know have bare cupboards or cupboards full of Kraft macaroni.

Yes indeed. Some chefs get too high falutin and epicurian by adding frozen peas and carrots to canned Campbells Soup! Some Iron Chef types go really fucking WILD and throw in some leftover rice! You should try slicing some hotdogs into Ramen noodles!

This spacealien OP is such a simpleton... using fresh avocados, beans, melted cheese and crunchy nacho chips then baking it up nice and hot.

Then again, his dish requires teeth to eat. The leftover rice soup is perfect for toothless codgers. Applesauce for dessert?
