Once again I would reckon 70% of Canadians are left of your position and support these services. If most people want the services you will be out of luck.
I'm sure door-to-door mail delivery and VA offices are burning election issues. Do you propose that we have door to door delivery in every condo tower too. We wouldn't want to make condo dwellers left out. Are you a former postal worker looking to be rehired?

You reckon? So again, just your opinion, no proof or corroborating evidence. We've all seen and read how good your opinion is in past threads.

D2D to those who have it now. Condos get inside boxes. Farmers get mail box end of lane. These are winner issues involving millions of voters.

Very clear choices. Want pension at 65 and D2D delivery. Vote NDP.

Want new jets and jails vote Tory.

I'm sure that's what all Canadians want a return to a 1970's style welfare state. It's taken a generation for countries like Canada, the UK and others to undo the disaster that was NDP type policies and you want a return to those failed policies of nationalizing and over regulation, not to mention run away spending, inflation and indebtedness...keep dreaming. How well did Ontario's NDP experiment go for you, come to think of even Bob Rae abandoned the party, that should speak volumes.

What does it matter what happens in England, Germany or Australia? Does not having
home delivery of mail really affect your life? Not to sound insensitive towards veteran, but if an office is kept open and nobody ever comes in because of the dwindling number of vets left alive, what's wrong with merging its operations into service Canada offices?
While the liberals gutted the military year after year after year, and endangered the lives of soldiers with equipment that was in disrepair and obsolete at best, none of you bleeding hearts spoke up. How many servicemen died flying those old Sea King helicopters because Liberals refused to replace in the first place, then canceled the procurement of new helicopters and allowed more servicemen to die needlessly in crashes? Tell me, what's more disrespectful, sending a veteran to a different office for service or sending them to their death for the sake of saving a money that was wasted elsewhere? So spare us the your lectures and priggish remarks about disrespecting veterans.
Who mentioned anything about those countries. We have political history in this country that goes back that far and then some. The Libertarian platform gets a polite 'piss off' in every riding they run candidates in elections. In the last four election the best they got was less than 0.05% of the vote, 7,300 votes.the best they ever did was 0.25% of the popular vote in 1988.

Yes there are some things more important than home delivery in Canada, but so many I know who who get it don't like it, but if you asked them home delivery or better services of veterans, what do you think the answer would be. It's apples and oranges, but the mail system is just an easy target for the government. the gutting of the military crosses many different administration but the present one has lied straight faced and say they are better than the past governments and it's clear they aren't.

Still can't think of a country which follows a Libertarian platform? No wonder, it doesn't work.

I know I don't want to return to the 70's. Won't speak of everyone.

Say wha? What is it you're trying, quite badly, to say. They were provincial premier, not federal leaders. every premier, eventually loses.

Neither Harris nor Peterson jumped ship to another party, Rae realized there was no future with the NDP and bailed. Unlike Harris or Peterson, Rae sat as an NDP MP, so whats your point? Don't get all confused now that the NDP is the official opposition, that was a function of the liberals tanking in Quebec and they couldn't bring themselves to vote conservaative, so they voted for the "other guy".

Mulcair is another politician who is challanged when deciding where on the political spectrum he should be. Just another confused leader who was once a liberal and now he's a New Democrat, this just goes to prove these are politicians who stand for nothing other than doing and saying anything just to get elected, typical power hungry liberal liar. But lets not lose sight of the real issue, D2D mail service and the segregation of government services.

No comparison between Harris, Peterson and Rae.

With Rae,...his own comrades voted him out,...big difference.

And as you pointed out,...jumped ship.

Not mine. If you knew as much as you think you'd know that I think Rae got a bum deal on his tenure as premier and have said as much herde on TERB more than once. It has been said by others who know Rae better than you ever will, that Rae was an NDP in name only. He was by far a Liberal at heart.

Everyone doesn't get a vote today and never have in Canada. So simple.
Typical BR comment. Never ever any substance to it. Nothing to say but talks any way.
