I'm sure he did but it was probably a little too racy to write that into the script in that era. Remember Leave it to Beaver, June and Ward slept in separate beds and they were married.

Sorry about Russell Johnson. I loved Gilligan's Island as a kid. I watched it over and over and over till I had seen every episode 20 times.
