If you appear to be a tourist you are rich in their eyes. It is easy to pick up civilians...just respect them. Brush up on your spanish before you go will greatly enhance your experiences. You can also hire locals to translate/guide you if you wish for a nominal daily fee + expenses.

The few times I've gone to cuba i've never directly paid for it.
Girls are much more approachable in cuba. Treat it like a date here but with generally a much better outcome. I just take them out, get them to show me the country, buy them some small gifts and then back to their place for a romp. I'm batting about 80% for getting it in at the end of the date. and its much more fun. It costs me less than $100 for a whole day/date...

What area(s) of Cuba? Where do you find these girls? Do you stay at a resort?

Bullshit. If you are reported there for paying to a girl who is under 18, you will not see Canada for a few years. Of course, if you think that a 16yo would fuck you for free, you may as well do it in Canada, it's just as legal here as it is there.

Here is the truth:
A) Girls you meet out of a club can be charmed with dinner and gifts, perhaps some taxi fare, etc. (I don't mean girls along the lakeshore strip in Havana who work 'the street', but those at a café or on a bus, or in a store, etc.).
B) Girls you meet at the night clubs or so called 'party girls', 'club girls' or 'escorts' will ask 80 to 100 CUC for you to take them to your casa (some may balk at a hotel which requires I.D. presentation and registration - the latter being objectionable but you should always check that they are > 19 y.o.).
No girl charges by the hour. That mentality doesn't exist. Now, depending on your negotiating skills and how you can charm a lady, you may ensure that she will stay with you 'todo la noche' (all night), however, you may want them to leave once you're finished cuz you need to sleep, and it's not like they want to have breakfast in their club clothes and be seen in broad daylight with a tourist which is a no no.
I've heard of some guys brag that they could get a gal for 40 to 60 CUC to be with them.
Common upselling is:
I) 10 CUC each way for cab fare
II) 10 CUC for cell phone (an excuse if they have invested their time sitting with you and you decide to leave with someone else - this can be coupled with cab fare for 20 CUC total).
III) 20 CUC for a BBBJ
I don't like upselling but for 20 CUC to me, it's not worth ruining the mood.
IV) Ladies might recommend their own or a friend's Casa Particulare (private room) for 20 CUC. Some of these private places might have their owner or tenant charge you 5 CUC (they might ask if you'd like a drink for yourself and for the lady).
Frankly, I know that one can play and romance ladies to avoid a straight payment of 60 to 80 CUC or more, but I'd rather not bullshit them that I might be their white knight in shining armour who will save them from the drudgery of subsistence living in Communist Cuba.
How easy is it?
It's like shooting fish in a barrel. However, the better looking girls at clubs will know they are hot and want 100 CUC now (they are more shrewd). Frankly, the hottest girls I've seen are at the better clubs. I perhaps have had one of the hottest Cuban women there is but I won't share her. She's had foreign sugar-daddies who supposedly pay more than me, but that's not my concern.

P.S. A CUC is about 1 USD ~ $1 CDN.
Your translator, like TRADUCTOR, will require DATA service which will cost you a fortune due to roaming. That roaming charge could cost you more than the entire trip or hobbying expense.

AFAI, the legal age is 18.
I know of guys who have been duped by girls perhaps 3 months shy of 18. Some girls have phony I.D. If they work the club, they haven't been corrupted by us tourists, however, I would not knowingly be with someone under age. There are plenty of woman 18 and over who are gorgeous and experienced enough. There are clubs that will check the ladies' I.D. too.
Not that I would know but my educated guess is that those under 18 who make themselves available, are probably not virgins so I wonder what that sick appeal is.
16 is not legal for foreigners in Cuba, only for Cuban to Cuban relationships. You could go to jail in Cuba or if enforcement in Canada found out about it, you could go to jail here.
Bars and clubs are full of men looking for Cubans over 18. Don't lump everyone into that generalization.
The dollar has actually fallen quite a lot lately, hotel exchange was 87 cents Cuban for a Canadian Dollar, Bank Rate a few cents better.
Yes the expected total number of tourists in 2013 is expected to hit 3,000,000. Of course according to your well thought out observation, about 2,990,000 fanned out over the island looking for young 16 and under girls to have sex with.

I understand the Cuban and Canadian laws to be surprisingly almost mirroring each other as it relates to 16 to 18yo girls having sex with an adult. If the relationship is not one of dependency or exploitation, you are safe both here or in Cuba. But if money exchanged hands, you are fucked, be it there or here.
