Officer dickhead doing the wrong thing. He should have given him a warning and let him go.
Considering the article discusses the police policy being all charges must be filed, I doubt he had a choice. And I'm sure the ticket would have been dropped anyways.

I am not giving the government my $$$ any earlier than I have to.
Another gem
Ok explain how waiting to the day of your birthday in any way is better than paying for renewal say a month in advance
The start & expiry dates do not change in any way
So unless you live day to day (no extra cash in pocket) what diff does it make?

It doesn't make any difference so why even ask the question?

Nice redirect to a completely irrelevant topic though. I guess if people don't do things the same way as you they're a "genius"

At least you proved this time that you can actually comprehend what is written. So kudos.

No big deal. A $109 fine is a just a slap on the wrist compared to the penalty for a DWI.

I thought this bitch always has her eyes on the real prize. It isn't catching drunk drivers...it's collecting $$$ for the region/province.
You stated before she was collecting $$$ for region/province (no idea how a Halton cop gets paid off a provincial offence but if you care to elaborate go ahead)
You then stated you wait until last possible day because somehow this benefits you financially

No redirect but you are trying to pull a misdirection here after being put down by 3 posters (incl myself)

Is English your native language?

Tell me where I stated that waiting until the "last possible day" somehow benefits me financially?

Show me where 2 other posters besides you put me down

You might want to read and reread posts multiple times before you reply to them so you actually have a grasp on what is being said/written instead of jumping to conclusions.

If you do not understand the financial relationship between the regions and the province look it up.

Again if English is not your native tongue then sorry.

Um in your previous post
I even replied with your original quote intact so if memory is weak you can re-read it

Show me where 2 other posters besides you put me down
Again this is a very short thread so one would think you could find answer yourself, but as you are some odd type of sadist:
drstrangelove - said understands your pov but as you are stopped its ok to check your sticker
curious36 - was the one who said you were wrong and since bday did not pass your sticker was legit
abv - posted you can order online and having it shipped to you would even give you additional days grace time
+ me equals 4

Happy now?

.
And there is no financial relationship for this situation
Period
If you think you are right prove otherwise but until you do I say you are an idiot

The fact that someone of your intelligence/capabilities can make enough money to be able to afford to hobby is a credit to the power of capitalisim. You don't seem to understand the written word very well(Gutenberg has had very little impact on your life). Someone saying they do not give their money to the gov't until they have to is not the same as saying they benefit financially because of this decision. See how one does not equal the other yet you can't make this connection.

As I correctly stated earlier not only is there a relationship between the province and regions when it comes to money collected from traffic offences but almost all of the $$$ goes to the regional government.

You say I am an idiot until I prove otherwise. Well here's your proof

http://www.woodstocksentinelreview....kes-a-look-at-provincial-offences-act-revenue

I guess you'll be an idiot in perpetuity

You're worth zero effort moving forward so feel free to troll away...but please think about spending less cash on "massages" this year so you can afford some form of tutoring.

Sometimes the police don't use common sense.

One time I was out getting totally and completely drunk with a friend. Both of us were into barely-can-walk territory. I was within walking distance of my home, my friend had driven. I offered my couch, my friend insisted on going home because of work commitments in the morning. Friend, being an idiot, was insisting on trying to drive home. I finally managed to convince them to take a cab by offering to split the cost, and so I went to flag a cab and put them in it to make sure they actually got home that way.

So I was out on the street drunkenly flagging down a cab for my friend, when a cop pulls over, seeing that I am very drunk, and starts demanding to know what I am doing. I say, trying to send my friend home in a taxi. Cop starts giving me the 3rd degree saying he's going to charge me with being intoxicated in public on the street, even though I pointed out my home is only a few blocks away. Takes my ID and starts running me through the computer. During this time, I am saying, "Hey I need to get my friend a cab, give me a minute, and then we can chat all you like" and he's replying, "No you stay right there, if you go anywhere I will charge you with resisting arrest" (or some such, anyway the threat was there that if I tried to leave physical force would be used to keep me there).

Great.

So my friend escapes and drives home while the officer is busy coming up with nothing on me in his computer searches and eventually, like 10 or 15 minutes later, lets me go on my way to my home.

Fantastic job.

I've heard that one can also get a taxi using a telephone.

Probably, but at the time we were already out on the street in downtown Toronto, outside the pub we had been drinking in, and there were cabs driving by. Telephone didn't seem like the right way to go. I was trying to put my friend into a passing cab, which would have involved me moving about 20 feet to where I could flag down a cab, during which time I would be completely visible to the cop in his cruiser. Wouldn't let me do it. Plus, he had all my ID in his hands. Not like I was going to run away and he wouldn't know who I was. It was silly.
