It is expressly forbidden to treat family members except in cases of emergency when no other physician is available, or for extremely minor transitory ailments (e.g. take two aspirin for your headache).

If it is a spouse rather than a daughter, so that there is a sexual relationship between the physician and the patient, then it is a zero tolerance policy with a mandatory revocation of the physicians license to practice medicine.

Except that he's not in Ontario, so it's apparently not that egregious nor illegal.

Are you sure it's forbidden because I know of a few occasion where family members specifically asked and were granted that exact thing. yur reference is a long passage of pure legalese and not an easy read. Perhaps you could highlight/quote the important part. The fact the that practising doctors were ranked some of the best in the country for both specialties, their doing the procedure gave the patient peace of mind. It's not the best situation and they shouldn't, for a number of good reasons, but I'm not aware of, nor did they mention, it being forbidden as you outline.

It isn't clear if the daughters were raised from a very young age.
They could be adopted in their mid teens in which case the dad
might be more of a 'guardian' than a father.
