Anybody else having problems with Yahoo email since their recent "upgrade"? It seems that they have solved most of their recent technical glitches, although the new format is crap. The problem to-day is all I see is a spinning wheel when I try to log in:mad:.

Don't you love all these "upgrades', Yahoo, TERB, etc.?

Yep new Yahoo email SUCKS!!!

It's buggy and has popups thrown in!
Then Yahoo claims if you become a PAID Yahoo subscriber all these popups will go away and things will run smooth again like they used to in the past!!!

What a crock of upsell BS!!!.....

+1 I friggin HATE it.. Right after they "upgraded" I called them up to complain and ask how to get the old format back. I have had my yahoo acc since 2002 but I am seriously thinking of deleting it because I cant stand this new format, confusing and I hate the fact that someone beside you can see a part of your email content from the main inbox screen.

What are the other free alternatives that are better? gMail, Hotmail, etc.?

I don't mind even paying a small fee to use a well layed out, user friendly service. I'm going to look into it

LOL..we are not alone on this. My wife and I are going bonker about the new version since it came out last month! WTH with the feature ''Me" sent and "Me" reply? I don't know if I should cry or laugh with the changes with their email...lol..

Has Yahoo also limited the number of photos one can now send to friends? There was always a size limit but now it appears there is also a cap of no more than 5 pics regardless of size. I guess one can always switch to the email provided by your Internet service provider (say Rogers) but I think you lose access to your historical emails if you ever switch providers.

Done.... Switched to Microsoft Outlook. It feels pretty user friendly and set up well. Transferred my important emails over and deleted 95% of my emails back in my yahoo acc.. I will give it 2 weeks then delete my yahoo acc altogether.

Lol, I've only had this Outlook acc for 1hour and already it's much easier to use then Yahoo and I have been using the updated yahoo since last month. I'm also finding it much faster then Yahoo. I have sent several emails to myself through it and they were all instantaneous. So far so good

Yahoo really dropped the ball on this "updated format" bs..
Like mynameisearl said ''Me" sent and "Me" lol
Frigg, I don't know if I'm coming or going when sending an email with the new format. Hate the new format

I've done the same and complained and gave plenty of negative feedback. They just ignore it. Yahoo is getting too big and like M$ just plods along doing what they feel is best for them and the hell with what folks think.....:eyebrows:
