Run the bastards over. Anytime I get threatened in a car, I will use my car as my fightback weapon. Deal with the consequences later. If someone threatens your life, kill them before they kill you.

There's got to be back story to this. Why were the bikers harassing the Range Rover to begin with?
Read the article. There were hundreds of bikers out that day without license plates. He may have done some bonehead move beforehand, but I doubt anything that was deserving of this.

I have gone through a swarm of 20-30 motorcycles, and believe me, it is no fun

He should not have driven into a traffic jam and stop. It seems if he kept moving he would have been better off, unless they shot at him.

No, it looks like the guy with the camera, came upon the range rover...who was cruising along minding his own business. They moved past him, then the numpty in the jeans moves over and comes to a stop on the freeway. Likely trying to create space or unwarranted right of way and clearance to allow the unlicensed bikers to pass. But his move was surprising, rather quick, and forces the Range Rover to brake hard. Not sure if he tapped the back end of the breaking bike. But certainly would have been unsettling.

Then they gang up on him...certainly looked like a robbery or car jacking going down.

therefore.....nice move by the RNge Rover.

His mistake was getting off the highway without a clear plan. Would have been funny to see him pull into a police station or some controlled property.

what's not shown on video, is that afterwards, the driver was dragged out of the SUV and beaten before police arrived

NYPD is looking for the bikers, and there have already been 200 complaints about them

NYPD confirmed that there has been one arrest. Christopher Cruz, 28, was charged with reckless endangerment, menacing, reckless driving and acting in a manner injurious to a child less than 17.
Edwin Mieses, one of the motorcycle riders struck by Lien, may be left a paraplegic, the report said.

His wife and kid (toddler) were in the car. ThAt changes everything, IMO. He should have driven off and called 911 or gone straight to a pd

Typical biker bitches only tough when they have numbers on their side.
The biker bitches sure stayed out of the Rovers way until one or two got ballsy again and the Rover ran the morons over a second time.

However, I agree the Rover driver should have thought the next move out a little better. I would have been looking for the police.

It seems(ed) to me that I saw at that was dislikeable about bikers this past summer.

I'm guessing he pulled off looking for a cop. If he hadn't seen a cop on the highway - he was probably hoping to find one on the city roads.
