It is hard to describe the current situation in Russia in traditional Left - Right terms.
The Putin Administration is certainly authoritarian and is opposed by political groups who believe in a more democratic and liberal state. While the Communist Party opposes Putin, they do not believe in a more democratic and liberal state.
RT America most definitely appears to operate in a time warp such that it might as well be 'Radio Moscow - Television.'
Then again I seem to recall you stating that you have never watched RT - America other than clips on Youtube.
I regularly look at their website, www.rt.com as I look at www.aljezeera.com, www.bbc.com and www.cnn.com.
