My childhood memories of Black Sabbath were listening to them for the first time at my older cousins' house. I vividly recall the song Supernaut (is that wawa pedal?) which was ingrained in my memory banks for life everlasting.

However, I don't think they played it (yes I was there lol - with a rock 'n roll lovely who I won't mention lest someone I know is reading this).

They opened up with eternal metal songs War Pigs and then Into The Void.

If I had long hair, it would be have whipping back and forth like a mop (as it was with some of the younger folks).

Many middle-aged parents brought their sons to the concert.

I kept on yelling "Old School Is Best".....one time "Disco Sucks" (just a joke as I love soul and funk).

The smell of weed or hash smoke filled the air.

The new drummer band member was awesome (he looked like either Jesus Christ or Osama Bin Laden).

Ozzie sounded good. He didn't howl like a wolf in that iconic song (Iron Man? Correct me if I'm wrong), but he did good!

I wish I had a bat to throw on stage.

One thing clear, it was all pure musicianship. No lip sync, no auto tune, no pre-recorded intros, just pure, unadulterated, raw metal music.

The Hammer
It was a good show...his voice was a little wobbly for Dirty Women & Children of the Grave, but otherwise solid considering his age!

The Osbournes ruined it for me. I now look at Ozzy the way others might look at Flavor Flav.

how was the overall sound quality?

could you hear the guitar and bass clearly?

Was it crowded?

I'm not a big fan of concerts because many times quality is affected.

Rolling Stone refers to them as proto-metal, I refer to them as the most significant band after The Beatles.

Supernaut was the song Bill Ward would do his drum solo to, did Carmine Appice do a drum solo?

How my gumba Tony Iommi looking like these days. He has cancer and is receiving treatment while he tours - now that's one tough motherhomper!

Drummer was Tommy Clufetos, Ozzy's drummer. Yes, he did a drum solo.
At 65, Bill Ward wouldn't have been physically capable of drumming for 2 hrs every second night

Tony was doing fine

Ozzy is Ozzy .
The fact he is still alive is a miracle .
Got a couple of song introductions mixed up but he uses a teleprompter to help with the lyrics .

Show was awesome !

I hate my life, I had to work last night. My first concert every at the age of 13 Ozzy bark at the moon. I've seen Ozzy many times I've seen Sabbath and I've seen the late great Ronnie James Dio. There's two concerts I've always wanted to see both Sabbath one with Ozzy and the other with Ronnie.

Great Show Great Crowd
Mostly everyone was drunk and high. The Stage had all the elements of a real rock concert minus Pyro - no gimmicks.
Iommi's riffs during Iron Man were amazing!

What were ticket prices like? I did not find out about the show until I saw this thread. My kid is a huge fan and I asked why he didn't say anything to me. He said tix were too expensive. Not even his money!!
