Ive been bounced twice now. If your not active, or you dont buy their up grades, they tend to weed you out. Also woman will make shit up if you dont respond to their messages and youll get bounced. Not the best site to meet people anyway.
This site is useless been there for almost five years and never had a date. Got maybe 2-3 number of girls that were absolutely horrible, when it was time to call I just couldn't do it. They promise you that you will get at least two e-mails per day if you paid for premium membership but after you pay you realize that it's all bullshit and nothing happen to your account, no e-mail no nothing.

Funny story I had with pof. The only day I actually used it was the day I created my account. Just finished adding a photo and finished my descriptions. Started browsing around seeing if theres anyone that catches my eye, a few do. Didn't really bother sending a message. A few weeks later I find out one of the girls that caught my eye was a really close friend of my friends girlfriend. We all went to wasaga beach together surprisingly, got really drunk, went to the club bananas and somehow I got laid with her, woke up in a motel. The morning after I told her I saw her pof account and had a weird feeling when I saw her profile. We still talk occasionally..
I still have an account but don't really bother with it anymore. Way too much work just even get the point of even just one date. Then after all that work, half the time they look nothing like they do in their pics, personality is totally different than what they put on their profiles...ect
i've had my profile bounced a year ago. Simply changing your email address and making a new profile won't work. i've done it many times. every time. my profile gets bounced less than a day later. the admin can see your IP address. I've tried getting around the IP address by setting a POF account at work. but i logged into the same POF account at home and the admin saw that it was accessed via the banned IP address and bounced the one i made at work too. I tried to set up another POF account a few times after that. They all got bounced less than a day later. The POF admin sees your IP address. doesn't matter what email address you use.

ive been told you can use a SEEK machine or whatever they call it. that can change your ip address. make up a new and random IP address every time you log in and keep you anonymous. so that the POF admin can't see your real ip address and thinks you're logging in from china or russia or something. but 1) its considered illegal to use a SEEK machine and 2) it costs like 1000 bucks to purchase and 3) you'll be lucky to even find one to purchase.
ive also been told there are proxy apps out there that work. I've tried them. none of them worked for me.
They have made it their mission to weed out those guys who just want sex - they now see themselves as some kind of eharmony knockoff or something. The guy who runs it is an egomaniac. The site sucks ass.

If you clear all of your cookies as well as making a new email addy, it can work.
I have 4 different accounts on there, 1 for me and my wife, one just for me, and 2 that I just made up to mess with people. Found out my brother was on there so made a fake account and screwed around with him. I just used different email addresses. All 4 are still active after 3 years.
From what I see, POF has male to female ratio of 1000:1. Having said that, there are a lot of men in POF that women won't even bother to look at based on the men's profile alone. But here is a kicker, as someone already pointed out, virtually all women on POF (at least half decent looking ones) think that they are princess and they deserve no less than a perfect man (based on their perceived value). I'd rather stick with a good ol fashion courtships.

Given the amount of visits that site gets and how much advertisements it has I'm estimating hes a millionaire at least. Money can buy you everything, even happiness. If money doesn't buy you happiness than you shopping at the wrong store.
