Lately I've been opting for Aria, which is newer and nicer.
Dont forget that lovely vanilla smell throughout the lobby and public areas.

Great suites with cool gadgets and gizmos, too. A bit skimpy on the toiletries though.

i dont think you can go wrong w Caesars. Its a bit old school but thats ok sometimes. A table full of people who know what they are doing in blackjack can be an absolute riot!
Wynn/ Encore as suggested is nice (almost too nice) but i also agree that the right corner suite at aria and or vdara is a great room and a spectacular view.

Last time I was in Vegas the Venetion didn't exist. Been a long time lol. But my last 5 Visits I stayed at Caesars. Always in a junior suite, very comfy with a huge spa like bath. I spent most of my time in the sports book where I won probably 80 percent of the games I bet. You then realize what a rip off pro line is. Restaurants and shopping were great as well at Caesars. I have to get back sometime. I always went in late November, weather is perfect in the 60's and it's off season for tourism. Not as many visitors and prices are cheaper but most pool areas are closed.

I havnt stayed at either but I've been to vegas several times. The Venetian is the nicer hotel, smaller casino, younger crowd. I like the location of Cesars better. My favorite hotel is the Bellagio

I have stayed at both and they are both nice but for a bit more money you can stay at the wynn. It is an incredible property I stay there about 3 times a year for my poker get away`s but I play at the Venetian because that's where all the drunks like to play :)

Also the wynn has incredible pools and clubs if you are into that stuff

Pay attention to Butler. The nugget is the best deal in Vegas. He doesn't mention Oscar's (the Plaza), one of the most under rated steak houses in Vegas. If you want tourist crap, by all means stay on the strip. Old Vegas has way more to offer,(IMHO), the nugget personifies that. Good time right outside your door instead of a cab ride to the next theme park. Just my two cents worth.
