Texas Says It's OK to Shoot & Kill an Escort If She Won't Have Sex With You!

That judge is insane.Completely insane.Does he not realize how many alibi's he has opened up for potential men and women who simply want an excuse to kill someone?.All they have to do is plan it the right way.To the people in this thread who stated he was within the law.He was.He really was.Over 150.00$.

Do you think he killed her over the money?...or over the fact he could do it ;and in his mind ,get away with it?He'll kill again. He knows how easy it is to do now.The only thing stopping most psychopaths is self preservation and Bexar County has told him he's going to be just fine.

I like that....liberals quick to ignore the facts...soooo boobie....you're cool with the waste of coin by these Ontario liberals?

it's real money lefty...not smoke and mirrors...how much money will take for you to understand that these libtards have no idea how to manage a budget?

Maybe we can check the emails as to what they were thinking...

You're right to go after conservatives and the Rush Limbaugh's of world, just leave Ron Paul out of your fantasy world of money printing, endless prisons, endless wars (yes Obama is just a big a war monger as Bush ever was), nanny state, government over private sector bullshit.

Must be a CUPE member.
This thead is about Texas and Woodie is ( I believe) an American, so drop the McGuinty rant...he already retired!

Nothing good ever comes out of craigslist.

This case has nothing to do with sex, she stole his money and legally he's entitled to use deadly force to get his money back

Wasnt a bad looking girl btw. RIP

I kind of thought that if you shot someone while involved in a criminal transaction, you were fucked, regardless of how the transaction went (drugs, prostitution, whatever). I guess not in Texas.....:thumb:

OK - I finally clicked on the link and now I get it - Ezekiel Gilbert is neither black nor Mexican.

And the victim looks vaguely non-Caucasian. So it all makes sense......to Texans.....:eyebrows:

Point is she WAS his property, he 'rented', for X alloted amount of time.
She didn't deliver what was expected, so he blew her away!!!....
now, first and foremost, i would like to preface this by saying that i do not agree with the morality of what happened. HOWEVER, from a legal standpoint he is not guilty. i also disagree with the example i quoted. it is retarded examples and justifications like these which cause so many problems in our society. please, think before you write.

she was as much his property as someone you pay for an oil change. a more accurate example would be:

-you go to Mr. Lube for an oil change
-the person takes your money, doesnt even go under the car or under the hood and then says you are done, leave.
-you attempt to get your money back for a service which has not been performed
-oil change person refuses
-brain on wall

there is no slavery or exploitation in this LEGAL ARGUMENT. the possession in question was the MONEY AND NOT THE WOMAN (...retards. this is mostly directed at the comments in the article).

i would also like to end this by reiterating that i do not agree with the morality of what happened. and as always if you morally oppose a law or the application of one it is your place to bring that to the attention of your elected officials.

What is odd is you didn't noticed that kinda blows away you cockamamie stereotyping malarkey claim!
Eisenhower was not a Texan. You are stereotyping Texans. Facts, not malarkey.

What's rich is you didn't pick up on that while making your pseudo stereotyping people claims. Hypocrisy....:eyebrows:
You're use of hypocrisy is wrong here. If I hadn't picked up on it (which I did-see above), then my statement would have been falacious, not hypocritical.

Hypocracy is the rule of hypocrites, BTW, which is unfortunately the trending form of government.

The news headline, and that of the OP, are also wrong. "Texas" did not say it was okay to shoot a prostitute if she won't have sex, nor did the judge - a jury did. Not saying the jury's decision or the interpretation of the law is correct, just pointing out that you can't trust headlines. The jury may have had to make the decision that way, if the law is written in such a way that they had no legal option. Juries are not tasked with making decisions based on morals, but on the law. The problem appears to be the way the law was written. Like many problems, it seems this one was caused by lawyers and politicians (and, of course, an idiot who was willing to kill over $150).

This is pretty much open and shut.

She tried to steal from him, he shot her. Wish it didn't go down like that, wished she'd just turn him away and return the money but some escorts don't do that. She didn't want to play fair he made her play fair.

There is probably a lot of something funny in the water in Texass!
Well Texass is one of the most polluted States!
They feel no need for any 'silly Gov regulating' to keep their waters, air and land clean......so perhaps this accounts for their peculiar way of viewing things down there....

Really!!!

From the Trial transcript:
Gilbert said that as he turned to get his cell phone from his car to call police, the couple began to drive off. He said he fired two shots at their car from his assault rifle. [Most Texans feel a need to pack them]

“I was trying to shoot the rear tires out on the vehicle so that I could stop them and call police and get everything squared away," he testified.

What does a legal ruling in a criminal trial have to do with pollution and government regulation?

Perhaps many Texans brains get addled from all their pollution, causing them to think 'funny' as they do......;)

BTW, the top six most polluted cities are located in the ultra-liberal, exorbitantly taxed and regulated state of California. Stop being blinded by your political leanings.
