Yes, and both Germany and Austria are significantly smaller in size for it.

But the funny thing was, when they were occupied and were being ethnically cleansed, and having their land taken away, they decided the best revenge was living well, so they built real states, with proper institutions and didn't engage in terrorist acitivities or tolerate radicals.

A model the Palis should emulate.
Germany was only slightly smaller. The allies returned most of their conquests (except Russia of course) AND also provided massive economic assistance. German refugees were accepted. Italy had no significant changes in territory, neither did Japan (some small losses to to USSR again) And of course the return of the Sinai to Egypt in return for peace has set the precedent for peace agreements in the middle east. So as usual, you are being unabashedly pro Israel and showing you have ZERO objectivity on this matter.

Israel has equal rights today. Israel would not be destroyed by equal rights -- that is just fanatical propaganda.
Great, then we are agreed that a one state solution with equal rights would be best for all.
Giving equal rights to all should ensure no ethnic cleansing by either side happens.

The UN has called for "a just settlement of the refugee problem" and "a just and durable solution for Palestine refugees".
Yup.
Let them return to their homeland or give them fair restitution, which one would would think should include 50 years of statelessness in there as well.
Say, present market value of their stolen lands and 50 years of lost income/residency.

That would be fair, wouldn't it?

Of course what you miss is that in every case including Egypt, it was after a peace deal was concluded. Last I heard, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, PFLP, etc. absolutely refuse to accept peace with Israel and Abbas turned down the best deal they'll ever get.

That must mean you support the same for the descendents of the million Jews chased out of Arab lands who had their property stolen.

Maybe it was Israel that missed the chance to make a real peace with a non bullshit offer. Forever is a very long time, and Israel cannot win forever.

Those Jews from specific countries can take it up with those specific countries. But I notice you continue to insist on using the term "Arab" in a racist manner when you are, in fact, referring to specific countries. Try to be a little more intelligent in your responses.

Please show the part of UN resolutions that say that the children of refugees have a right to go to Israel.
That's easy. The children are also registered refugees. Plus, I'm sure you don't want to reward ethnic cleansing, do you?

That is a fantasy. That is not what would happen and you know it. It would result in massive persecution and ethnic cleansing of Jews, which of course is what you are rooting for. Just as you demand Jews be cleansed from the West Bank, just as the Palestinian Authority and EVERY Arab majority nation ethnically cleansed themselves of all Jews.

Which is completely irrelevant.

Do you believe that Arab nations should pay compensation to the descendants of the Jews they ethnically cleansed?

Israel will still be there in the hundred years or so that it will take Arab nations to adopt democracy and embrace human rights, and after that what happens won't really matter.

No, it's absolutely relevant. Your response is irrelevant. By the way, you can clean up your racism as well.

You make no sense.

Of course you call any offer that includes Israel as bullshit. Olmert's offer was the same as the Arab League's plan. Abbas walked away.

p.s. Have you even looked at the offer or are you still talking out of your ass?

Still avoiding the elephant in the room?

The sticking point that will stall all two state talks is how to deal with the refugees.
And remember, by going on and on about how they have no rights to restitution you only help make the case that Israel won't ever offer a just settlement for them, and without that there will be no two states.

In your opinion it was...and if so...why didn't Israel say it was a very similar proposal to the Arab league plan...what are the differences?

What makes you think there would be equal rights?

The Arabs, and especially the Palestinians, are absolutely NOT INTERESTED in giving equal rights to Jews. No such thing exists in any Arab majority country, in every case--including the Palestinian Authority--Arab majority nations have implemented extremely racist policies and completely ethnically cleansed their entire Jewish populations.

Everyone in Israel knows this, which is why they will NEVER agree to it. Agreeing to that basically means agreeing to their own annihilation, it just isn't going to happen and every moderate thinking person in the world, on either side, knows it.

Your favourite Church knows it, which is why the United Church insists that any resolution preserve the demographic integrity of Israel--and that's coming from people who are boycotting products from the settlements. Unlike a fanatic like you, they know what a reasonable solution would look like--and it's not a one state solution.

I recall Arabs making very similar claims about the immediate demise of Israel back in 1947. How many more decades of being wrong about that before it sinks in?

I see you have gone back to your immature ways, trying to have a one-way conversation, not reciprocating when being asked even simple questions. No-one is going to respond to you if you childishly refuse to answer the questions and points that others make, while spewing your incredibly stupid hatred. You really add absolutely nothing to this forum--your posts are all idiotic, and they are all just spewing hatred.

Anyway -

It's irrelevant because UNRWA's decisions on who to register have absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with citizenship status, and all the UNRWA has ever demanded is a "durable solution" to the refugee problem. UNRWA does not demand a right of return and there is no such requirement in international law or in any UN resolution.

What the UN has demanded, and what UNRWA also says, is that there needs to be a negotiated solution that gives these people a permanent home and some sort of citizenship.

Now you need to answer this question or you can expect no further replies from me, because I don't really have any interest in talking to a childish, hateful troll:

Do you believe that the Arab nations should pay compensation to the descendants of the Jews they ethnically cleansed?
