The NDP seems to have more than its fair share of these don't you think? Not only does she disappear but she lied about her resume and issued racist comments.

Lovely lady.

Sorry for the typo in the headline which you can't correct - Jane Shin
What would be a fair share? Better to find this now that later when she's in a position of responsibility, like Head of the Treasury Board.

Better yet for the NDP to do a proper screening of potential candidates in advance of nominating them.

Screening errors are not just a problem unique to the NDP. It's a fact of life in many political parties. Train make it sounds like there's been a plethora of these in the party. I'm sure other members could come up with a few examples.

So because everybody is doing it then it must be OK?

There have been prominent stories in recent years about missing candidates during the most recent elections. Now this one. 100% of them have been about NDP candidates. Even for someone as biased as you that should constitute "more than there fair share".

Biased? Considering my voting history, I would not call myself biased towards the NDP. as noted in the past, I have voted Conservative as often as I have voted for the NDP; low single digits for both.

No, just a fact of political life. Even in real life, the number of people who lie on resumes is scary, but no one gets bent out of shape. Nearly 30 -50 % resumes put out by grads have lies in them. How many of them are caught. How many doctors and lawyers are caught later on? I've heard 1 in a 100 lawyers have false or misleading credential, 1 in 50 doctors.
